  1. Talk to me when Faes, Soumare and Daka have pissed off elsewhere and (miracle bids notwithstanding) Skipp and BDCR are playing with the reserves. A very positive first step in draining the swamp though.
  2. I refuse to believe Rudkin has the phone number of a club even easier to fool than ourselves. I think he just called Disney to try and cancel his Disney plus, was this close to agreeing to a five-year extension at double the price, and was accidentally put through to Wrexham's transfer department as they're now on the same switchboard. While we've got them on the line though, that midfield is looking a bit sparse, can we offer you a Soumare in this trying time?
  3. Translation - 'We've got to the point where even the Foxes Trust can see through our bullshit, so we can't get away with excluding groups that might say hurty words to us anymore.'
  4. Probably a 3 for me. Moved away from Leicestershire in March and now have a non-league team on my doorstep, so my interest in LCFC is even lower than it would have been. I'm actually more excited about the matchdays I will attend than I thought I would be, but that's because I'll be seeing faces I've not seen for a few months instead of a few weeks. Youth aside I have zero interest in what happens this season, because nothing has happened either at boardroom level or to shift out the clowns on the pitch who I never want to see wear our badge again.
  5. Daka would still miss all three
  6. While it would be incredibly flippant to suggest we're in anything like as much of a crisis as they are, there are worrying parallels. A couple more seasons of rot coupled with struggles for the wider KP group, and it could be us in the near future. We need to be showing as much solidarity with the Owls as we possibly can.
  7. I heard they fed 4000 people with one larb flavoured fish snack
  8. My thoughts exactly. Everything says we win comfortably, apart from the small fact that we are Leicester F***ing City. Put your house on a 2-1 win, Barry Bannan signs on a short term to help the club out, scores the winner a week before he leaves and celebrates by sitting the U10s down and teaching them their times tables
  9. bengladesh hamza 🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩 🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩🦁 hamza 🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩
  10. Bittersweet really, lovely to see some old favourites playing together (including some that never did in the same team). At the same time I'm sat here thinking shit, even the lads here that weren't part of our fairytale years I have far more love for than a single soul in our current squad, maybe Abdul aside. And thinking I'd rather have half of these old boys who haven't kicked a ball in years over some of our current crop. And the other thing - realising this is the closest we'll ever get to a legends game or a testimonial for our golden generation. I hate our club's complete lack of nouse when it comes to recognising what the fans want.
  11. The thin line looks like a butt plug.
  12. Honestly I don't even have an issue with his ability, I'd rather see him in that DMF position than Skipp on merit, but I dream of the day that he leaves so that our social media is rid of his Bengali fan club. They make me yearn for Mahrez' Algerian sycophants... at least they were doing it for a world-class player.
  13. Sean St Ledger still looks like that kid who eats sweets in class
  14. Went to an oriental supermarket today and kept seeing larb-flavoured snacks
  15. Honestly I'll be delighted to be proven wrong, because he'll feel like a new signing if he does come good. But I really, really worry for us this coming season if teams come at us early-doors and realise they can exploit the fact that he doesn't seem up to pace. My biggest fear is that we end up having to rely on our front line to out score opponents, which is arguably an even bigger and more pressing concern right now. Skipp isn't the only one in fairness, it's been pointed out ad nauseum that our midfield collectively is a chocolate fireguard. Perhaps more athletic centre backs like Nelson and Okoli may spare the blushes of Skipp, Wilf, Winks if they play like they have been doing, but as it stands it looks like the two cargo ships and a clown will still be getting regular gametime for us... so I can't see our defensive woes improving much beyond hopefully coming up against some garbage finishers in this league.
  16. We must have been watching two different games. I lost count of the amount of times he either lost possession on the halfway line, or put those around him under pressure with hospital passes. Koln found it surprisingly easy to thread balls between the lines and get the space to do so around the 20-30 yard area, which was because he was doing a shit job of tracking runners or positioning himself properly to make life difficult. Maybe that can be coached into him, but as I mentioned in a previous comment I think it comes down far more to a mixture of poor fitness and a general lack of athleticism. Frankly, we don't have time for him to "come good" with one more game until the season starts. Koln were a well-drilled unit who, quality-wise, are upper championship / PL relegation fodder level, and he looked out of his depth against them. He's going to be a liability against any team that doesn't sit off us. Admittedly, many did last time out in the Championship, but the game is moving on and even in the second tier far more now employ a gegenpress than even two years ago. We're going to get a lot less "respect" this time around.
  17. Might as well be, similar physique
  18. I think what's disappointed me the most is his lack of bite or press. He was supposed to have a reputation as someone who snaps at heels and makes a pest of themselves, which we've seen nothing of. He's about 5 yards behind play most of the time, which results in him either losing possession or making desperate challenges like the one that led to Koln's penalty. Seeing him on the same pitch as some of our exciting youngsters really brought home how unathletic he is. He looks hideously unfit, honestly giving me Michael Ball vibes when he was here under Sven.
  19. Still waiting for him to show any sign of being good enough for us, even at Championship level. Folks pointing to one season with Norwich half a decade ago are clutching at straws.
  20. Nah, that's it for me - bin Skipp off to the ressies and pretend he never happened. He's shite.
  21. Köln are even worse at playing out from the back than we are. That's quite the achievement.
  22. Hearing that shite trumpet pop goal music is triggering my PTSD 🤮 Good finish though Kasey.
