I think this is the end. Everything is rotten to the core. There is nothing positive. The finances are a disaster. Most of the support is complicit. We have no identity, obsessed with this style. If he had come in earlier like he should, he probably would have done enough to keep us up. Yet a gain the clueless leadership fannying around will cost us. 4 draws in the King games suddenly looks a lot healthier. Not getting beat by Oxford and Charlton would have been helpful

I dunno there were a few games in the Enzo season where we were different class to the shite in this league. And a few games toward the end of last season where we looked better. There has been 2 games this season where I think we deserved to win with Cifuentes. Managing in the Premier League and this division are 2 different things. Yes Cooper and RVN were poor but they would both have been way ahead of that Cifuentes clown. Regardless of the squad assembled by the football operations team being shit, this squad has more than enough NOT to be in a relegation battle, there is some utter dross in this division. Any manager with an ounce of credibility should be able to form a team that can keep it tight. Cifuentes seemed to embed in us this weird suicide football where we did none of the basics like defending, running or shooting in pursuit of this weird total football where we passed it around at the back and didn't do anything other concede, every now and then James or Abdul came up with a wonder strike to save him, and the cycle started again. I dont know why people make excuses for him really, he is as bad a manager we have had. I guess that now we have to accept thats the kind of crap bucket we are shopping in.

Honestly no one with any self worth is going to want to work under these clowns, unless they have very high confidence and truly back themselves against the odds, and a prepared to shout.

Its a very different dynamic to come into a team thats shite 2/3rds into a season that can not defend or keep a clean sheet, has the worst pressing stats, the worst running stats, the worst distance covered per game, to worst xg. Has genuinely been coached awfully. All of this mess is down to Cifuentes and Cifuentes only.

Whoever it is get them in quickly don’t wait the whole ****ing summer like we have the last few years only to employ a shit ****. We might as well bring back Rudd he’s still under contract. He would have done better than the fraud we ended up with.

I dont believe that anything is going to change now. What have we won 1 or 2 since January? That is not suddenly going to change, we are done. Id say staking your life savings on oppositions win or draw and over 1 goal conceded is a pretty safe bet for the remaining 5 games.

The idiot manager we had who should never have got the job. Really a blithering halfwit should have been able to coach this squad to a mid table position. Somehow Cifuentes managed to coach us to relegation contenders with the worst stats and fitness in the division. Some achievement even for a nobody. He talked a good game, but delivered not more than a handful of semi decent performances.

Lets be honest here, unless there are changes at the top, which there wont be we are on a fast track to League 2 and/or insolvency. These lot are not capable of choosing a good manager or good players. No good manager would come here anyway. Best we can hope is we get lucky on some Journeyman they pick as thats our market.

I get why he’s done it, if you are going to come in all guns blazing in the middle of the season with a soft bunch of wimps you will probably make them cry and be even worse. It’s not worked either way. We will probably sink to league 2 next year if any of these clowns are still present.

The trouble is any manager is bound by the constraints of the clueless clowns running the show. That is largely why we end up with idiots.

Incredible is defending that useless **** No we shouldn't. Only thing that bloke had was a bit of luck, at best we deserved to win 2 games under him, the rest was pure luck or Jordan James/Fatawu brilliance. Thing is, if they run and get stuck in, the fans will get behind them. The issue is when they are passive, sit back and appear to make no effort. Again if the likes of Ayew came on, made a menace of himself (to the opposition instead of us), people wouldn't have such a problem with him. Skipp has mostly turned the fans around with his effort.

We simply have to get 6 points from these games, anything less is not good enough. Unfortunately we cant compare these spineless bunch of muppets to the 14/15 team in terms of the effort they will put in.

Its funny really the only reason this absolute nobody got the gig is because his name wasn't Big Barry Curtis from Burnley. He was the same level of league 2 standard manager whatever country he is from. Generally I couldn't give a rats ass where a manager come from if he is competent or even semi competent at our stage, but I think Rudkin and top have a theory that big name or from abroad (or was in Barcelona once) = good. Puel was a decent team builder and good at working with young players, 155 million times the level of Marti, who simply is not a football manager. That is my only problem with him.

If he continues to get 1ppg then he will have failed in his task, but he cant come in flick a switch and make us good overnight after months of abysmal coaching and tactics. If we are relegated they will both be at fault, that said turning around a team in shit form is going to be somewhat harder than starting a fresh season with the highest paid squad in the division. 1.33ppg over the 2 thirds of the season is still shit however you paint it, and if 1 continues that will also be shit. I am pretty sure if we had been stupid enough to stick with Marti we would have had a worse ppg by now as we would have lost every game 3 or 4 -0

AGAIN it’s 2 different scenarios one bloke brought in at the start of the season with the highest paid squad, the second brought in to turn around a complete 6 month masterclass in being shit. A manager on a rescue mission can not come in click his fingers and fix months of embedded utter shite. Under the previous willy puller we couldn’t keep a clean sheet. Completely irrelevant, he had what 65% of the season and we were getting progressively worse under him. If that clown head was still here we’d absolutely be relegated by now. Again we did not have more then 2 performances where we deserved to win again under the clown, the results he got were pure luck. If he had got results against absolute rubbish at home we wouldn’t be here but he didn’t because he was a useless fraud.

You obviously didnt watch the utter dirge served up under that Marti fellow, being played off the park by Oxford at home was a low, also 3-0 down to Sheff Utd 1st half, getting smashed by QPR away, Sheff Utd away. There is NO defence of credence in people trying to claim the previous manager was in some way better when hes had most the season to sort the team out.

I don’t really understand how we can lose so much money yet not really have one decent player to show for it. The ineptitude is astounding.
