As bad as RVN was and Marti was worse in a worse division. It’s unfair to call them the worst as they have had absolutely no backing whatsoever, not one proper player signed permanently. They were bad but set up to fail. Marti shades RVN as he is in the Championship which is doggo, managerial experts like Alex Neil.

I think it’s still Taylor, took a top 10 team, made it crap. Cooper and RVN were bad but dealt a terrible hand in the Premier League. That Marti fellow was also pretty awful but again had a shit show to work with. I also think the latter years of Rodgers were bad.

We need to get over 50 points, that should be enough. Unless Oxford pick up quite a lot of wins they wont be anywhere near that, and that means probably it will be a lower amount to stay up. There is always some odd results in this division at the end of the season.

I am glad I am not the only one, I feel if it continues we will get a result and that may turn the tide. Fingers crossed for Stoke after a few more weeks training. If you judge on results its very easy to say nothing has changed, people criticise the formation and players used but he is changing things and we are pretty limited in that respect. Its difficult to judge now but the 1st half performance against Southampton should be at a level where we would beat a number of teams in this league, we need to find a way of being a bit more intelligent with fitness. Its very hard to press with that intensity for 90 minutes especially when so many seem unfit for whatever reason. We need to find a way to manage games better. The rest of the season we haven't pressed at all. The players need to be trying to win every ball, it was too easy for Southampton in the 2nd half. That said they are one of the better teams in the division. Had we kept 11 men in the previous games and played that way I think we win.

As much as I love Claudio we NEVER EVER win that league title without the years of input from Pearson, his team, the structure set up going back to 2009. Claudio was the right man manager at the right time, with the right skill to continue riding the wave started in the Great escape season. He did a fantastic job. Its by no small coincidence that Claudio after winning the league started to change little things, bring in his own methods and we struggled comparatively. Its a shame. He took out things like sports psychology that is a massive thing on player mentality, he took out some of the sports science and technical analytics as he didn't believe in it, it was all pretty new at that time but it had impact, I don't know if it was ever replaced to the level under Pearson.

Pearson wont come whilst Rudkin is here. That toxic inept clown would have to leave the club but it seems his work is not yet complete, he still has things to turn to the most toxic shit ever. It would be great if Nige came in and gave the useless **** some home truths.

He looks like he is probably a massive bellend tbf, the kind who wants to circle back and download the kpi metrics into a thought cloud! Who has done the interviews Rudkin as most senior staff member I assume? He’s just going to bring in a regime to support what he wants to do.

He talks a lot of sense, I think it’s too early for him and he would probably acknowledge that.
