  1. It ok, we promote again next time
  2. They should turn all the luxury spa shit off with immediate effect and tell the players if you play like League 1 players we will treat you as such.
  3. Stoke are awful at the minute, cant score. I work with a lot of Stoke fans and they are worried about dropping down the league. So if we can somehow find a goal there might be some hope. Knowing Leicester we shithouse a win against the better teams then undo it all by losing to someone shit.
  4. Which might be the reason the club wont get a manager. I would demand a number of things because its clear the club has a lot of issues, a good manager has earned the right to do that. Obviously the club being the club probably wont employ them. A good manager has the reputation and right to come in a suggest changes to get success. What the club really wants is a yes man coach like Marti who does as he is told. Which is problematic. The club is a mess. Its not necessarily the applicants that wont come, its more the club wont employ them into Rudkins empire as they wont accept they are running a shit sinking ship that needs a serious overhaul.
  5. Well he was going to sign for the useless fraud Marti. I imagine he will get better offers particularly if we are in league 1
  6. Any manager that backs themself doesn't care about any of that. That's part of backing oneself! A lot depends on how much interference there is from above. If you know the details, managers can work with little resource, the club just need to be honest about that, work in the something to prove market, works with free transfers, young players, non league, there is bargains for a good team to find. Id be demanding some say in recruitment as its clear our current recruitment is unimaginative. Focus on the strengths of the players we have instead of being wedded to s style and formation the clearly doesn't work. I think most fans are realistic about expectations especially now, the vast majority just want to see a team that goes out there and tries its best, if the manager is honest and sells it as a long term project, says what needs to be done, what the problems are and how he is going to solve them people will get on board with that and be patient. I think a lot of fans are disappointed with the lack of accountability, there are those with blind faith. If people started being honest, stopped repeating the same mistakes that haven't worked fans would get behind that. It needs a clear out.
  7. That is a short term fix, really we need to get there and stay there. Unfortunately with the competence of the people running the club its also highly unlikely at this stage. League 1 a real prospect, the Premier League a pipe dream for at least 3 years.
  8. Its still a good job for any manager that backs themself. Just imagine what an absolute legend you would be if you could turn this ship around and helped set us on the path to a sustainable future. I agree we are looking in the wrong pot, we want an up coming manager with new ideas not washed up hasbeens. Of course Rudkins list is only so long.
  9. Normally it wouldnt be a problem, but to go from top 10 Premier League to League 1 in 5 years, would be hugely problematic. A normal championship club doesn't have the wage bill we have, or the number of stadium staff, training ground staff that we have. There will need to be massive redundancies at the club. A big problem is that without a CEO there is no clear strategy.
  10. Marti was not going to figure it out, he was shite, we were getting shitter, we had just been played off the park by Oxford United, by an amateur manager, he had to go.
  11. That's a great idea, maybe they could get the happy clappers in, they can pay £200 a pay to clap the players after a hard days training, put some honesty flags out, they'd love it.
  12. No because he was a useless twat. We were 100% going down under him, now we are 99% going down so something had to be done. Every game under that clown this year we have got progressively worse, more unfit. He had to go. He is the reason we are as bad as we are, this club shouldn't be in this position. The biggest incompetence was employing a fraud like him.
  13. Because all revenue drops, attendance, tv, sponsors etc. No one is really bothered about League 1. The PSR rules mean the club can only spend 50% of revenue. Our costs are very high. Without serious work, it looks like a path to insolvency.
  14. I think the worst of it is the season. Hopefully we could shift a few of the others over the summer and there will be some natural departures.
  15. Its interesting this comparison, this was my thought and one of the moments I knew we were going down from the Premier League if something didn't change, same feeling now, I have a feeling its too late for much to affect the course other than pure luck. Marty was always the wrong manager but the issues run deep. Nothing has changed at all, nothing has been learnt, the club is more incompetent than ever.
  16. While he makes some good points, I'm not sure the player wages will be a huge problem in future as most big contracts expire over the next few years. The issue is we will have no players, they will need to dramatically cut staffing at the club say 50-75%, one of the training grounds will need to be mothballed or sold. He doesnt know the full details and is making an educated guess. Having no senior management in place is also an issue. Problem is if they get somebody good in they will quickly realise Rudkin is a complete waste of oxygen.
  17. Just give him a basic contract and a big bonus if he keeps us up, if he back himself sure he’d do that.
  18. I doubt these clowns will look at Dyche. Toppy and Ruddy what to watch tippy tappy ball. They are not going for anyone who doesn’t play that way. His stock may have fallen but honestly managing at Forest for the fat oath is almost as thankless as being at Leicester, at least at Leicester they probably don’t interfere game to game like the fat lad
  19. I’ll take it. Even if I fail I’ll still get the remaining 3 years of my contract it’s a win, win. First day I’d cancel all training at seagrave, get us moved into the dirtiest coldest park, make them all travel there and back by confidence bus. Also going for runs in the rain up bradgate. £2500 deducted from the wages for each goal conceded. £2500 for every goal scorer or assist maker.
  20. Its pretty clear to me that we can never ever try to sit back and defend a lead because we simply can not defend. We are best on the front foot and pressing high but you have to be very fit to do that for 90 minutes, which we aren't. Southampton are one of the better teams in the division, we need to play like we did in the first half against the crap teams. To be honest im not sure if its a combination of Southampton being crap first half or if we were good, or a bit of both, its a shame because I thought the first half was a lot better than anything I have seen for a while, the 2nd the absolute worst! King has been pretty vocal on saying he doesn't want the job, he probably hoped it would be over by now. I still feel there is a bit of progress from the absolute 90 minutes of sideways/backwards no shot dross served up under Marti. Under him we wouldn't have had 7 shots in the first half ever.
  21. There stadium was full of empty seats last night, they won’t have champions league football or much money in future. The squad is full of players who think they are better than they are, lots of parallels! The Rudkin one I’ll take
  22. Not much, they are massively toxic. We became Spurs after the league win
  23. Thing is we wont get that. I honestly wouldn't surprise me if Rudkin brings in some yes man, so we can get maximum usage out of his assets Ayew and BCDR
  24. Another one of Rudkins senior pros, collecting his pension fund top up
  25. To me a sit in at the end of the game will be the most effective at pissing the club off, as they will have to have security etc, it will really rile them. Plus the hospitality areas can see/hear which will likely annoy the big wigs.
