I sometimes wonder whether people critically assess the source of the information they rely on during elections - judging from the Sun and Telegraph reading conservatives in my family I highly doubt it, considering they base what they think EXCLUSIVELY on right wing press and tweets from right wing figures. I honestly think any so called ‘newspaper’ that has any political affiliation should not be allowed to be called a ‘newspaper’ as that implies a certain objective ness or impartiality which simply isn’t there. And to be honest if you read the Sun, daily fail or express you deserve to be lied to.

Just started playing the game and I’m having traditional FIFA buyers remorse - starting with such a shite team is making me regret getting rid of Fifa 19 and my 94 rated team lol. Is it worth sticking with it considering the bugs like heading etc. or do you think I should just sell it on at a slight loss, and save myself the stress of grinding to keep up with the 98% who have POTM Vardy? My fearsome CB pairing of Jonny Evans and Gary Cahill can’t quite cope 😂 (I got it for £35)

I do agree about the ground being unhelpful, the more compact grounds like Loftus Road carry the noise a lot better and creates a great atmosphere - doesn’t excuse our now awful atmosphere week in week out though, it’s been fantastic in the past, I think maybe a lot of our fans are becoming a bit complacent

Been away for a while but couldn’t resist this lol - 2 things 1. Our support really is worse than I’ve ever seen it before, near silence broken only by 1 short chorus of “Come on Leicester” and frequent groaning whenever a player loses the ball or makes a mistake. Until we score and we get a couple of minutes of atmosphere before descending to silence/groaning again. 2. I laughed so much at the 80 minute brigade missing another late goal, almost as much as I laughed at the droves who missed Iheanacho’ last minute goal. Maybe these last 2 games and Rodgers even mentioning the fans leaving early might encourage people to stay, but I doubt it, everyone’s too keen to watch I’m a Celeb instead right?

You've taken that quote out of the context of that post. Read it again and you'll see I was talking about the distinction between 'fans' and 'supporters' which @old koppite mentioned, and this is completely consistent with my above post.

I didn't call anyone 'bad fans', I simply pointed out the irony that the only response those that leave early give is a sarcastic "you're such a better fan than me", when choosing to not stay for the duration of a game or appreciating your team after a 5-0 win might suggest a little apathy or little less dedication than those who support for the full 90 mins and after. Nothing controversial about that.

Straw man argument again bud, point out where I mentioned elderly fans who have a valid reason to avoid being in a jostling crowd. The fact is @Babylon and @UniFox21 it's all very well categorising every single fan who leaves early as needing to catch a train or being too frail to endure having to queue to get out of the ground, but we all know that's not true for the vast majority of those who leave early. They just want to avoid a bit of traffic.

I think @Rob1742 has raised an excellent point here. The fact that we now have a lot of people who only show up because we're actually good now must have a positive correlation with the number of people who can't be arsed to sit through a full 90 minutes. These guys simply aren't that bothered, hence why they failed to show up when we weren't in the Premier League, and undoubtedly would leave if we were to get relegated

Quite a few people have made sarcastic comments about people who stay til the end rather than LEAVING EARLY every week being in some way 'better fans'. Well I don't see what's so controversial about the point generally, if someone walked out of a Morrissey concert early I would think he perhaps wasn't as much of a Morrissey fan as the fellas staying til the show actually ended. If someone left the Impractical Jokers live show at the 02 in London to avoid traffic rather than sit through what they paid for, I would think they perhaps weren't as into it as many of the other patrons. So yes, I think those that are dedicated enough to see the whole match through and show one of the best teams we've ever had their appreciation, rather than go to the pub/get home a bit earlier or any other similar reason are in some ways better SUPPORTERS. @old koppite drew a distinction between 'supporters' and 'fans' and was ridiculed by some (undoubtedly by those who regularly leave early yet were offended by these comments). But he is completely right. A supporter is someone who SUPPORTS their team throughout the whole match and finds a few minutes to show their appreciation afterwards, as most would do after any live entertainment event. A fan is someone who follows Leicester City from near or afar, and like my Morrisey/Impractical Jokers analogy, can't really be arsed most weeks to see the whole thing through. The fact is this problem does seem to be getting worse, and it most probably is a cultural thing, but that doesn't make it something we should all accept as good or that it should be a taboo subject. I think some people just treat the football as a routine/a thing to check off their list, and maybe take their ticket for granted. I don't have a season ticket now, but in the 16 odd years I had one I never left early of my own volition. People have a choice in most scenarios over whether they LEAVE, or SUPPORT, and I don't understand why supporting your team is not viewed by some in here as a trait of a more dedicated supporter than those who simply can't be bothered to stay

I just don't like the way he comes across, maybe I'm confusing surliness for arrogance, but either way he comes across as a **** who you constantly have to tread on eggshells around. I was told 'he didn't understand why he had so much money'. Well you know what, that's not a problem. Too much money? Give it to charity. Or even better, give it to me 😜😬

I was listening at home to us losing 0-1 to Man Utd actually 😁 In all seriousness I'm glad we no longer have to watch Richard Stearman's pinpoint perfect long passes down the line to the opposition's corner flag lol I do miss the Tuesday games and the red LED scoreboard though, and I seem to remember an end of season game against Ipswich where we battered them but that didn't stop their fans doing a conga up and down the steps 😂

Fair enough, I'd be interested to hear from those who regularly leave early what score line or trophy would compel them to stay for the duration of a match. And do they leave the 02 arena early after they've paid to watch a band or a comedian, or do they leave the theatre before the end. If they stick by their logic on this topic, they should leave all events early to avoid traffic surely? Lol
