I actually think he’ll be decent. As Cooper has said previously the team will change dependant on the opponent we’re playing. So for certain games Ayew will play when we need pressure putting on, same reason he’ll come on in the last 20mins of a game to see it out and get us further up the pitch by winning fouls which many Palace fans say he’s great at. He's been a PL regular for many years and I’m much happier bringing him on than Soumaré or Mcateer (who needs a loan). Actually think he’ll surprise many of us on here.

As long as we sign another attacker with him, it’ll be fine. He’s just gonna be a grafter for Cooper and be a far better option to bring on and win some fouls to see out a game than Soumaré for example.
