After attending about 67,784 LCFC games (or so it seems at times) I will be taking my young granddaughter for her first league match Let's hope we don't get destroyed and shred her enthusiasm.

1. Given how the club has constantly banged on about the style of play, continuity etc, it's weird that they have just gone for some stopgap with a style of play and attitude that is completely at odds with Maresca. 2. Given his background and the underwhelming nature of the appointment, he will have to start well with aggression and positivity on the pitch otherwise the already dubious fans will turn on him and the club bigtime.

Ironic - like so many teams this season, Huddersfield put 11 players in their own half (sometimes yesterday just about in their own penalty area in the first half) and have the rank stupidity to complain about how tedious LCFC are.

Well, not really, as there was no penalty at that point for going into administration. There were many clubs around that time who experienced admin, and yet LCFC are the ones who seem to kop it, even from our own supporters at times

One can imagine the vitriol LCFC would be receiving from Everton (and the footballing establishment in general as well) were it Everton who were relegated last season, whilst we stayed up, only to receive the 10 points deduction. I think there would be much more noise about how to redress the benefits we gained from our cheating. Let's not exonerate Everton with any casuistry or moral agonising. They cheated, and other clubs suffered, on the balance of probabilities, which is all you need to demonstrrate in civil issues like this.

Sorry to hear that, but not surprised. I saw numerous examples of their disgusting behaviour yesterday outside the stadium. They really can be a horrible bunch. Not all obviously, but they do seem to attract a subhuman element.
