  1. Yep special player, saw his 1st game vs West Ham league cup game in 2015 and he has been great ever since. The word that really describes him is intelligent and he's still doing it now, noticed even this season blocks so many crosses, something Ben doesn't do much of, so the ball doesn't even come in. A Leicester title great, and a great character at the club, Fuchs and Okazaki, ear flicking!!!
  2. Its always useful to do some speedwork. Do a park run Saturday morning 5km, Brauny Park, Vicky Park, Harboro, Dishley Loughborough, Melton Country Park, Conkers Park run. Gets you used to racing against others and running in crowds too, so the actual HM's aren't a shoick to the system if your only training is by yourself or in the gym.
  3. Yeah spot on. It's pretty much a closed shop to non members and STH's aside from a few cup games. Looking back (as a calculated guess) I think there are around 3500 new STH's since we were promoted 14/15, over the 6 years. If you wanted to take additional family members for a game or two or half a dozen a season its nigh on impossible currently. 40,000 gives the club so much scope to do so many things if perhaps they only get to 37k or 38k for most games which I expect as a minimum, reduced pricing for U22's or U18's to get more young fans in as a feeder to the longstanding fans of the future (the stats tell us the fans are aging vs the 80's/90's) promotional family tickets at a reduced price perhaps, more England internationals etc. Whatever we all think "the perception" of the big 6 by players, means that we lose players like Mahrez to Man C, Maguire to Man U etc. With the training ground being finished if we go to 40k seats, that argument diminishes as we become probably the biggest club in the Midlands, then Villa are only bigger historically. And we seriously challenge the big 6. Very exciting times and how lucky we are to have the owners, Susan Whelan and dare I say it Rudkin!! Of late purchases are looking good (if still the occasional howler), Maddison, Soyuncu, Parreira, Justin. With a decent lucky run we could be at Wembley and the Champions League is now a STRONG possibility, Spurs, Wolves and Manure are really going to have to go some to get into the top 4, but just slip up too many times. Enjoy now and the exciting times aheadThe best of times over the last 5 years!!!
  4. Tigers 1pm kick off, Wolves vs Manure is the TV game
  5. Danny Ward (what has he done wrong, he looks really solid and was great against Wolves 18 months ago!!!) Justin (had a v good game on Saturday) Big Wes (still safe re Everton, West Ham) Benkovic (if he's even around, seen hide no hair of him) Fuchs (3 games in a week, but has had plenty of time off this season) Mendy (again if he is not going to be shipped out, was ok Saturday) Praet (almost always reliable and v unlucky not to have more 1st team starts) Choudry (v good at minute + confidence of goal) Barnes (think he has probably lost his starting spot over Christmas period, currently lacking, may come with time) Albrighton (OK vs West Ham, always good to get a start to keep up to pace) Iheanacho (if Vardy is certain to start against Villa on Weds, 4 games in 10 days would be a lot) OR Gray (to give Vardy and Nacho a rest b4 Weds, probably got enough against Wigan) Hopefully good enough with a good support at home to continue to the 4th round!!
