More well known than that, but may very well have been on the pitch at the same time in one of his 3 appearances for his Midland team.

Aston Villa (H) 4-0 // Post Match Thread

We have had 2 months where many of the players were playing poorly at the same time. Yesterday was many of the players playing well at the same time (Autumn revisited). I was at Norwich, this was very different!! That 11 has to start again on Saturday as a reward for an all round great performance and no visible weaknesses in yesterdays game. Justin has to keep his place (tough on Ben, but hey ho), an end product going forward, calm measured defending, pace, calmness on the ball, great partnership with Harvey which brought out more in him. Dennis was brilliant!! That pinged crossfield ball superb, puts lot of foots in, hardly loses the ball, think Wilf being there freed him up to be more offensive. Wilf - a monster, his passing is on a different planet to 12-18 months ago which adds an extra dimension to his game, and wins everything in the middle, also gives Kasper an extra option when playing out as he comes deep for the ball Riccy & Jonny - Just Riccy and Jonny and that's enough Harvey - back yourself son, have a go at them and it'll come off like last night, improve your finishing consistently and you'll be an England player They all played better than Maddison and he had a decent game, that's how good we were. Sames again please at Vicarage Road. Blag 3pts Saturday, and the pressure will be back on Chelsea and United and beating Brighton & Palace might be enough -
I think we've lost our confidence, why, don't know. Also I feel we are a lazy side, the pressing seems to have gone, players don't have options because others are working to find space. But what I don't understand is the body language was awful after the goal Friday. they all walk back to halfway heads bowed, like they feel that is the way to react. One or a couple should be going, who wants to play in The CL shop window, these lot have been poor but we have 25 mins, as the fans sang Friday, "Let's be having you", we're better than them, let's show them. Sadly the opposite many of them vanished or made poor choices, and as the clock wasn't our friend we had the tiki a take back 4 as normal. We need a Birmingham double in the next week+, Brendan put someone out there than can persuade them to "Let's be having you". We can still move on in the cup & close the top 4 story early with 4-5 wins out of the next 6 games, come on!!!!!

19/20 Away Tickets Sell Outs
The boy Linacre replied to Yes N'Didi's topic in Ticket News and Travel
Spot On -
I think a full season of away games has to equal or be slightly more than the 50pts for a STH or that extra season of Prem STH's 2013/14 20,000 of them!!! Stops Away regulars or kids growing up being able to get to games. The automatic 50pts for a home STH is too heavy a weighting for never leaving the KP to not going to an away game. Even when you get to a points level to get tickets, at Anfield I was at the back & couldn't even see the kop end!!

Aston Villa post match thread 2-1

A lot of us will be very unhappy. But the Nyland had 2 worldies, we can safely say they looked at the wrong handball of the 2 in the 1st half. We should have nicked a 2-1 at home and got a draw tonight. We created lots of chances and just couldn't finish enough. We did get back into the game, so showed some character, they mugged us at the end. The bus they parked across most of the 2 games And that was enough, and a number of sides are doing that against us currently. Lots still to play for, Chelsea Saturday massive, lets get some mongrel in that team out tonight and finish the top 4 story and we have the FA Cup. Lets go again, as they say "BACK STRONGER"!!! -

Nicholas Parsons a lifelong Leicester fan passed away this morning. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-51278023 Just a Minute, the radio panel game which Nicholas has hosted for an astonishing 49 years, outstripping even Roy Plomley’s tenure of Desert Island Discs. In over 900 programmes, Nicholas has managed – and engaged with - some of the most talented comedy stars the country has known. To name a few: Derek Nimmo (an earlier honorary graduate), Kenneth Williams, Paul Merton, Stephen Fry, Giles Brandreth, Sheila Hancock, Graham Norton and Sue Perkins. The length of its run and its sustained popularity are testimony to the quality of the concept, but equally to the skill, warmth and generous spirit which Nicholas has brought to the programme – as to so much of his life. But there is much more to Nicholas Parsons than these shows. There have been appearances on Dr Who, three seasons in The Rocky Horror Show and fifteen on the Edinburgh Fringe. He was elected Rector of St Andrew’s University, a role he found very rewarding; and his work for children’s charities such as the Lord’s Taverners, ChildLine and the Variety Club was recognised in the award of a CBE in 2014. It is also very much to his credit that he is a lifelong supporter of Leicester City Football Club.

What has totally changed this season is not only will he "take the ball of you", somebody has coached him in the last 12 months how to pass efficiently and effectively without giving the ball away, allied to his tackling and interceptions without generally getting booked that have got even cleverer and better. He has really loved on since Brendan joined, maybe formation, maybe coaching, maybe him, not sure but massively more effective.
