Couple of teams not getting value for money then!!! Man U, Arsenal, Everton Good on you Sheff U. Lots of players beating a path to Managers/Directors of football's doors after seeing they are underpaid. So average LCFC salary is £67,000 pw, I think??

Libraries I have been to recently: Anfield in Oct (tourists), Selhurst wasn't the bearpit I expected it to be, Amex last month till the penalty, Goodison last week almost till it was 2-2, our atmosphere has definitely quietened since the CL season. It was brilliant under the lights and the 3 seasons previous. We can't seem recently and currently to get or keep it going, sometimes the team need that "twelfth man", certainly will do Thursday. And the Sun Shines now by Adrian Tempany perhaps has some reasons for this, many that I have seen covered before on FT, All Seater stadia, the Premier League "product", "And is there any hope that clubs can reconnect with a new generation of fans when you consider the startling statistic that the average age of season ticket holder here is 41, compared to Germany's 21." I have to be honest and say that the better the atmosphere the more as a fan I believe any of us will enjoy the game. How many of us after a great game would say, amazing atmosphere, lets hope as fans we can find some way of bringing it back the 2nd half of this season. We have much to play for and support, a possible trip to Wembley and 2nd season in the CL, one of the best Leicester teams ever, we have been 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th only once in each position ever, this team may finish in one of those positions as well. As they say, the more you put into it, the more you get out of it, lets try and cheer them to some success.

Absolutely, lets see where we are!!! Halfway to probably our 2nd best season ever. Champions League and possibly a trophy, probably a final. We have a big enough gap if we beat most of the teams below 6th/8th to finish in the top 4.

He's a good player, blows a bit hot and cold. He just needs to lift his overall effort and end product consistently. If he can get up to about 10 goals this season (he has 5 currently) and 7 or 8 assists, he'll have had a good season. I have seen a lot this season, where he has dips, that people come on and say he looks tired. He's 22 not 32. But maybe he needs a kick up the backside and Praet starting, in the limited time he has played Praet's overall consistency seems to be better. But then back in the side a game or two later. Down to Brendan to get him to lift it regularly if he can't drive himself enough.

I take my hat off to him. He has developed sooooo much for us over the last few years, the goal was stunning, amazing pass, he looked like he had pushed it too far but we were talking inches that he got their before Ederson, left foot as well (that has developed so much its absolute quality), and the head as well, last week should have been his goal. And creativity is fantastic too, the pass that Barnes should have converted was brilliant. Penalty taking, I was at Goodison, fantastic. So hope that he gets to 30 Premier League goals this season its 17 in 18, that's giving it some. 3 needed to join the 100 club. Never know if he keeps banging them in his fellow pros and perhaps some journos might vote him for something again in the New year. Fingers crossed everyone he has 2 1/2 seasons left, that would be great, including another season in the CL for him next year!!
-
He has some lovely touches and clever interplay BUT just isn't consistent enough and blows mainly cold and we need more goals from him for a £30m outlay. Think he works relatively well defensively but he needs to be aiming to finish the season with 12-14 goals, that's a long way to go!!

Man City Post Match Thread - first defeat in 12

They pressed very hard and closed down our play from the back approach which meant Tielemens and Maddison saw little ball, they were well up for it. If we beat most of the rest in the 2nd half of the season we will reach Wembley for a final and finish the job and finish in the top 4. Hold on a second, what an amazing season that would be!! -
On his day a good player, it was tough today Man C were well up for it. KDB on fire at moment, Mahrez pretty good too. Would be good if his end product going forward was better, take a leaf out of Ricci's book. Not often he has days like today, lets hope he bounces back on Boxing Day.
-
Spot on. Going forward not a composed finisher, yet I heard he scored 9 goals in half a season at West Brom, don't believe its just the level. Secondly how quick is he? I don't know the answer but he never seems to back himself against the full backs he plays against in terms of a foot race and trying to beat them for pace. And as you said, rarely puts a foot in and means it, and tracking back is totally cosmetic and not sure he really knows what to do when he gets there. Totally scared of experienced opposition too, Walker just bounced him off his shoulder tonight a couple of times. Its tricky, course we want him to do well, local lad, home developed, but you have to pull your weight, if he was better defensively would Chilwell have done better against Mahrez, who knows....... He's got to produce more though going backwards and forwards, though TBF fantastic ball/assist to Vardy and great goal against Sheff U.
-
Lets see what Brendan comes up with at half time then, but we have to find a way to get some possession and somehow get playing through Tielemens and Maddison. No doubt they are mad ferrit though.....

C'mon Lesta, would love a point or more, would give us lots of confidence going into a massive Boxing Day

VMS, Football is all about opinions and that isn't one with any creedence!!! BBC bunged her a fiver and said say something controversial And if he was better they wouldn't be losing to Soton and dropping into the relegation zone having spent a £100m!!

Good Old Lineker "Rumours that both Arteta and Ancelotti have resigned are apparently not true."

You can get Sky on them I cam back from there last summer and it had Sky's coverage of the last round of the Open and the British GP and they were both on Sky!!
-
Ndidi has been absolutely superb this season, we should not sell him, his one big issue passing, has moved up such a level this year (perhaps coaching by Brendan), Choudry or not in the background he has been integral to our efforts, as much as Tielemens or Maddison in the middle of the park. His ability to nick the ball, without getting yellows has been great this season, one of our best this season. Hence least goals conceded this season in the League and 2 games from Wembley.

On grotty winters days the thought of watching 4 Premier League games on New Years Day for example including us at 3pm via BT sport recovering from the night before is very attractive.
