Forest are a very well organised team with 2 excellent no-nonsense centre halfs & quality players in attack. They also have an excellent manager. The upsetting thing is, that was & still should be us but sadly we are now light years behind them & it will take us light years, if ever, to get back to that sort of level
-
I go to most away games & the home atmosphere is rubbish wherever you go, even Newcastle was awful until they wiped the floor with us in the 2nd half. I'm convinced it's because of all the needless passing that achieves nothing & the slow pace of play, it just bores everyone to death & it's impossible to get excited. Trouble is every team is doing it now. The first half at Villa was shocking

Spurs v Leicester - Sunday 26 Jan - 2pm

As of 12.20 there are 500 seats still available in all blocks, although a couple of blocks only have a handful left -
He's a run of the mill midfielder, of which we have plenty. We needed someone who could be a game changer & goalscorer from midfield & he's certainly neither of those. Ridiculous signing, along with Okoli, Ayew, Reid. Our recruitment really is a complete joke

I really never want to see him again, along with Danny Ward & Luke Thomas

Agree entirely. It makes what happened in the Summer seem worse than ever, especially when you see all the excitement around Harborough & Kettering at the present time. So very sad that we'll probably not see that level of football for years, if ever
-
Am I correct in thinking that if Arsenal finish in the top 8 of the CL listings then they will not be involved in this knockout round (or in places 25-36, if only)

If we can get Wood & Archer fit for next winter we will have a serious pace attack,, along with Carse & Atkinson ,to take on the Aussies. -
So there are 14 different kick off times over 5 days for 32 games. The people at the FA who sanction this should be prosecuted & charged with ruining the greatest day in football's season
-
The main requirement of any new manager is positivity in the way we play. Hopefully that will make a difference & get the fans onside. No more performances like the last 2 games where we have been so cowardly
-
Yes Villa obviously been taking advice from Reeves who has told them that all pensioners are rich, so fleece them as much as possible
-
I never thought I'd ever say this but the upturn for the Aussies is the best thing that's happened to international rugby in years. They are playing some great running rugby & I can't wait to see them take on the Scots & Irish. It shows the value of having a quality coach

Mirror type thingy of us celebrating after being presented with the Prem trophy hangs in my hallway

It's just like watching the first team, bags of possession but never looking like scoring. Then the sucker punch, someone shoots & we have not closed him down, it goes through someone's legs & they score. We really need a coach who can teach everybody in the club just the basics of defending -

Yes Alves is playing. 7pm ko -
Yes just think of all the out of contract free transfers available this summer & we choose him
-
This has to be the worse front 3 we have ever fielded
-
God that's even worse than I expected. Truly horrific line up
-
Seeing that makes one realise how desperately bad our squad is
-
Thanks for that

Is Mark Joyce now an amateur? He seems to have been a feature in quite a few events over the years although usually losing in the early rounds. Has he lost his tour card? Also what is the problem with him & Allen

We really have given away terrible goals -
If they had kept Gerrard as manager then they would have been relegated & who knows where they would be now. But their board could see the warning signs & went & got Emery. He wasn't available but they got him & the difference is there for all to see. Compare that with our board who twiddled their fingers & let Rodgers continue to ruin our club & look where we are now. We should be the Villa of today, it really is criminal what has happened

I'm sure some clubs in cup games here have had 9000 allocation. Probably sensible from the club, with the current malaise among the fans we'll probably struggle to sell the 3000
