  1. Faes MOTM apparently earlier for Belgium.
  2. I can't believe any pub would risk dodgy TV in today's age with social media and everyone having a recoding device in their pocket. It must have been a major case of ignorance from the landlord. Just asking for trouble!
  3. Wordle 1,008 2/6 🟨⬛🟨🟩⬛ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  4. This thread is unnecessarily hot.
  5. The only thing I can think of is that CC doesn't quite meet some data point that Faes, Vesty and even Nelson does. Problem is that influence and leadership can't be measured in the same way. Some old school managers would just know they need to play some lumbersome, slow, tired nasty bastard defender that goes against every law on paper - they, the fans and players just know he needs to play - probably can't put into words why, they just do. It's just a knowing and I don't think Enzo has developed that yet. Having said that, Coady can't be described like that above anyway. He's a good player that was bought by Enzo for considerable money so none of it actually makes any logical sense. It's so Leicester City so I don't think there is any reason to it - just another bizarre decision to go with mountain of others!
  6. It was so annoying - seems jobs for the boys with very little effort put into to research. Some of the things I noticed: - mistaking a Leicester fan for a Chelsea fan when talking about a nervous looking supporter. - Big Jan's height being 6ft 3 when he's more closer to 6ft 7 - then the misconception he's brilliant the air. - the booing of the defender when they were shouting "SHOOOOOOT!" This one got me the most as why would a set of fans boo a player that just scored an own goal - there's no logic in it! - mixing Ndidi and Mavadidi up quite a bit. - Describing Yunus like he's some sort of centre forward when he came on. There was probably more I missed. They were horrendous!
  7. I'm pretty sure Stolarczyk will play tomorrow. I just have the feeling Enzo is one of those managers that is so tunnel visoned (whether it's stubborness that's up for debate) that he'll play a weaker distributor against a good Premier League press because that's what he's said is going to happen with the keepers this season. You're right. We're crying out for Mads tomorrow and it'll be interesting to see what Enzo does, I just have a funny feeling he won't play him.
  8. What I find the most baffling is why anyone would use the radio anymore with every game fairly easily accessible as a stream. I can't remember the last time I listened to a match, probably over 10 years maybe. All I can comment on is the after game analysis. It's usually rugby by the time I get back to the car these days so I actually get nothing from RL now.
  9. I'd happily take a 10 point deduction simply just for him to be employed by the club next season. He's just an absolute icon.
  10. **New content created** **AVAILABLE SOON!***
  11. Vardy looks about 21 still. What a specimen.
  12. It's good that Delap is missing for them.
  13. Morning John! 🌞
  14. Makes sense as I notice a lot of AI comments as the first post - usually a thumbnail of a woman in her underwear sprouting some ridiculous AI nonsense that is unrelated.
  15. Is anyone else noticing this? Surely if you have a free choice on what to include from 90 mins footage you could come up with better highlights than what they do usually. Often from the compact highlights it's a 2 mins video of one other chance that is replayed unnecessarily. You often don't get to see any other key bits so therefore get no context of the game itself. Sometimes they put longer extended highlights on but these consit of 3 mins of the unnecessary and pointless before kick off crap and then are hashed together with absolutely no thought. All seems really lazy and I'm often shocked with really important key events in a game that are completely overlooked.
  16. A thread hot like this used to be about stadium expansion. How times have changed.
  17. Sheff Utd abhorrent. Arsenal look like they can score at will. 0-5 at HT. Let's hope not, but a right possibility.
  18. Depends on your budget. If you can afford perhaps £70-£80 I'd say ASICS are the most comfortable IMO. On a strict budget you can pick up a decent pair of Kelanjis from Decathlon for £20-30 that do the job.
  19. Yes. These are the estimated contracts before any relegation release clause. I'd imagine that you could take 30% off all the wages on that list but then still question where this data has come from. I also don't think Winks would have been given such a big contract at the start of a Championship season either.
  20. I know this will be controversial but I've actually missed VAR, there's been too many times we've been on the wrong end of very poor critical decisions this season.
  21. I think the atmosphere now can be traced back to the fan base we gained from 2016. We have a large group of fans (I doubt many would post on here) so if you have been supporting us pre-2016 and would consider attending an away game, this probably doesn't apply to you. These fans got caught up in all the hype surrounding the miracle, probably enjoyed the following Champions League year and FA Cup win, but now the reality of supporting Leicester is kicking in they realise they'd prefer to browse Tiktok or spend 50 minutes in a cold concourse supping on battery acid and queuing for overpriced junk. They wouldn't know what an away game is and would have never considered going - that's why there is such a huge difference between our die-hard away fans. Singing a song is way down on their list of things to do - trust me! I see the same family all over the KP. There will be 3 or 4 kids messing on with each other, not paying attention to anything happening on the pitch. Dad will go off on 35 mins and return on 65 with about £80 (no joke) worth of food and drink, dish it all out not paying attention to anything happening on the pitch. It's such a weird mentality and it's something I never saw in the past. We all probably know a family that has suddenly become 'fans' since the miracle. They have a distorted understanding of the reality of football and Leicester City. One benefit (and I'm struggling to think of many more) of suffering for a bit in the Championship would that a lot of these 'fans' or better described as 'visitors' to the KP would get recycled, a lot like the squad of over paid rubbish would too.
  22. It's a funny one in the sense that usually when someone doesn't play like this, when it's obviously crying out for them, it's down to something behind the scenes that we will never learn about - a bit like Cags with Rodgers. What's bizarre is that we know Coady is the ultimate professional and Enzo had already noted this when Coady was travelling with the squad to away games when injured. Every time I see him on the subs bench he looks 100% committed to the cause and behaves in the way you'd expect from him. The only thing I can put this down to is a bit of inexperience on Enzo's side. Perhaps he's been so focused on stats and his philosophy he's totally not considered the thing that is hard to measure - having leadership and experience on the pitch.
  23. I've just fired up the boiler. Seems to work ok if anyone needs to use in here tonight. Got a plenty of beers in the fridge, help yourself and also the spirits cabernet is full.
  24. The 2 ribeye steaks for £8 are the only meat that I'd get from Asda that seems pretty good value -they're normally tender. I think the best value steak is the £3 one in Aldi, usually very consistent in it's quality. I don't know if anyone else is in to their steaks, but you can get some right tough steaks if you're not careful. Aldi do this giant 16oz rump that I couldn't cut with a chain saw.
  25. There's a term for it that I can't recall, shrinkflation maybe🤔 but I have noticed at Asda that things such as grapes for example are now down to about 350 grams when they used to be 400g. Go to other supermarkets and most of the grapes are 500g but a bit more expensive so Asda might seem cheaper on fruit but you're getting 30% less grapes per box. A lot of the big brands have done it too. They just reduce the amount of chocolate in the bar or take out some biscuits out of the pack and sell for same price and most people don't notice. Sneaky as ****.
