  1. Can't believe this has more rep than my original love affair with Enzo πŸ˜‚

  3. Sexism is ok in this thread because I'm not offended by this.
  4. I feel these last few weeks have been a massive eye opener to the sheer class of Enzo compared to the last 2 years or so from Rodgers. You don't always judge a man on how they are when they win, but more importantly how they hold themselves when they lose. Enzo could have easily called the players out V Leeds or blamed the board, but no, he remained calm and measured and we oozed confidence tonight and the players looked so focused in the final part of the game. Do you remember how nervous we became under Brendan after he called them out? I also thought to myself how fit we looked even deep into extra time. Just as I was thinking about how unfit at times we were under Rodgers, I see Vestegaard gallop up the pitch from end to end and nearly dink one in! What a goal that would have been! Imagine if someone had told you last season that in a year's time we'd be playing a premier league team and Big Jan would be charging up the pitch with 110 mins in his legs tearing the opposition to shreds! Vestegaard really does look like a new man, I'm really starting to believe he could do a job next season and this mainly the confidence Enzo has instilled in him. Add to all of this it was at Bournemouth where we propper bottled it under Rodgers and we never seemed to recover from that day. It's been a very interesting few weeks I think and makes me realise how lucky we are to have the great Enzo Maresca
  5. The 'stop loading' method didn't work in Chrome for me but did in Edge on a Windows PC.
  6. So much confusing opinions floating about. You go on the Wednesday forum and a lot of their fans think it was some of the best away support of the season. They also claim we're the quietest they've come across. People on here claim Wednesday were quiet and we actually were decent tonight. Think it points to one thing - the terrible and inconsistent acoustics at the KP. If you're in the family stand all you can hear is the away fans very loud you can't hear anything else at all. When I sat near the singing section a few weeks a go it was very loud but you don't hear really much else, even if the away fans are having a good day. The sound just doesn't seem to carry at all anywhere.

  8. My theory in all of this is that the Russians have known Biden is mentally gone for a long while, even the average person will have realised this if you've watched him over the last few years - the decline in mental ability has been fast and heading only one way. The mainstream media are only reporting this now - I think that plays into the Russians hands as if he had to be replaced earlier they'd probably have seen someone much stronger campaigning against Trump. So to lure people into a false sense of security they made out Putin to be ill and on his last legs, the western media jumped on this and this took the pressure/focus off Biden (the Russians wanted him running for the next election remember) We have it all coming out now that Biden is pretty much f**ked and has pretty much no hope of getting re-elected and there's no time to sort it out for the Democrats. Putin is looking like he has made a remarkable recovery from all the ailments he had at the start of the war! It seems all the legal stuff Trump is going through will end up in Russias favour too and he'll be the next president. Trump has said that he can stop the war in a day. I'd imagine that will mean not forecably telling Russia anything, he'll tell Ukraine that they have to give up some land and give some assurance about not trying to join NATO. If they refuse, America will stop funding the war which will ultimately mean Europe picks up the tab and with the current economic situation in countries like ours, I can't see public support for the war lasting long.
  9. I'd imagine any half decent candidate would be chomping at the bit to run against these two. I'm not clued up with American politics but I think they're crying out for a young, smart modern and forward thinking president. Not sure if there's anyone in the shadows that fits the bill?
  10. I remember when we were doing well in the Premier League and you'd hear the derogatory saying with quite a few of our unconvincing players "he's bottom prem/top championship standard" in other words "sh*t!!!" Only "sh*t" relatively to what we were trying to achieve though... So now we find ourselves at the top of the Championship where he's doing well, and all of a sudden people seem to think it means it works the other way! He'd be a decent Premier League standard player now! Yes, Rodgers messed up massively with him and drained all confidence but I'm not convinced, even with the new found confidence under Enzo he'd be less of a risk he was last time he played due to his glaring lack of pace and physicality in the top league. He's been caught out a bit this season too but the Championship strikers are such dog turd it's all forgotten. I mean this is why he's a Championship standard defender! He's been pretty sensational this season though but it's hardly a surprise.
  11. Foxestalk is the best place to find anything out Leicester City. Anything half true will come on here and then we all decide if it's worth the energy or not as the threads sink or float.
  12. What's all this end of career nonsense. He's come out recently to say how he loves the game more than ever and and has no thoughts of retiring. He'll be scoring goals for us next season, I'm sure of it. Thought he looked sharp against Stoke, had a bit of the pace back. Think he's had a little niggle that's been slowing him down for a while but he's looking really good recently.
  13. I think for me the football isn't boring as it's interesting to see how we build and reset but it has been at times frustrating when the ball is played back to the defence when there is an obvious attacking opportunity. For me it's the more intelligent footballers, Ricardo, Justin who are the worst for it. It's as if they've bought so much into Enzo's structure that they're seeing the game in a different way. It's as if they're not as alert to random opportunities that may come about and have lost a bit of instinct. I would say that game against Stoke was the best performance, not just the scoreline but playing on instinct mixed with control. I hope this is ultimately what Enzo wants.

  16. I can see us Leeds and Southampton this second half of the season absolutely motoring a head and I predict at the end of the season there will be a gap from 3rd to someone like Ipswich in 4th of over 15 points. We could see the three of us all over 100 points but it's crazy that one of the teams, I have a feeling it'll be Southampton, will have had an unbelievable year but see themselves in the lottery of the playoffs. Yes, the third team does of course have a chance of going up via the playoffs but the playoffs have a funny way of levelling everyone so it'll be an exciting watch this year no doubt, especially (finger crossed) us well out of the way watching stress free. I'm really interested to see, if say Southampton, have an amazing season, finish third, mess up the playoffs to see how they react next year? Do they have to sell in the summer, do they struggle next year even if keeping the squad? It'll be a good case study. What a league the Championship is, you'd think anyone down to say Bristol City has a chance of 6th and could find themselves in the Premier League over one of the big three.
  17. Are the first 3 fairly new? Don't think I can remember them being sung but I haven't been to an away game since Blackburn.
  18. Anyone else see the Rudkin out banner on the stream at the end?
  19. When we were 2-0 up we were still getting the ball forward fairly quickly at the right opportunity which was nice to see. Not really seen that much this season. We found the perfect balance of Enzo ball and being adventurous. Long may it continue.
  20. Am I seeing things here? Are we actually 2-0 up but still trying to activily get the ball forward quickly to get more goals? Go on Enzo!!!
  21. KDH is looking so strong. He's getting better and better as the season progresses.
  22. Dakkkkaaaa! Never doubted him!
  23. I know it's controversial but I really do worry that Daka looks like a pub player at Championsip level sometimes. Yes he's an athlete and will get some goals if he plays every games but I find him frustrating at times.
  24. What an absolute horrendous club Stoke is. They remind me of us back in about 2008.
  25. Alves Briggs Cover Marcel Looks like we have four very good options there for the near future. Make it five when Braybrooke comes back into the fold. I really thought Maswanhise would push on more than he has but suppose not every player is going to progress as expected.
