What you are saying implies that you think Skipp is better than those two. I wonder when people realise that Skipp is dogmuck, whether he cost £25mil or £5mil. I really don't think he's any better as a 25 year old than Armstrong is at 33 and im not Armstrong's biggest fan either. Let's be honest, Bologna were 100% correct to not value Kristiansen at his £15mil option to buy. Castagne was a perfect test case for why Rodgers is a mediocre coach. Joined us after being coached by Gasperini, who is world class. Fast forward to our relegation season and he was constantly playing the opposition onside and was all over the place defensively. You almost have to treat Castagne in his debut season and his final season as two different players. In the first season he was an important part of the FA cup win, in his last he was a key factor in our relegation.

The number one question any manager needs to be asked before appointed is: Are you, at any point, going to start a football match next season with any of Reid, Ayew, Soumare, Faes, Coady, Vestergaard, Soumare, Kristiansen playing? If so they cannot be allowed the job.

He looked class when he played for us last season. Also I know youre going to say that Vestergaard and Faes also looked good but they got exposed a lot last season but weren't punished due to the lack of quality. He can defend at least which none of our others can do.
