What you are saying implies that you think Skipp is better than those two. I wonder when people realise that Skipp is dogmuck, whether he cost £25mil or £5mil. I really don't think he's any better as a 25 year old than Armstrong is at 33 and im not Armstrong's biggest fan either. At least Armstrong's had a respectable career, Skipp on the other hand is so bad that he has people bringing up that one championship season with Norwich 5 years ago to defend his ability.

Martin got 5 points from 16 games. Ruud is bad but never that bad.

Ben Nelson - loan to Oxford United - Official

Considering we have spent £50mil on Vestergaard, Faes, Coady, Souttar id rather keep Nelson than task our recruitment team to spend £30mil on buying a new centreback. -
THE JAMIE VARDY YEARS - THE FIRST FIVE SEASONS
honeybradger replied to Thequickbrownfox's topic in Leicester City Forum
I read back the vardy transfer thread after 14/15 a year or so ago, it was 60/40 between him being considered our best forward and invaluable due to his work rate and people saying you can get someone better from the continent for that money. He was a proven PL player by the end of the 2014/15 season and people were starting to realise that you would struggle to find a player with his sort of characteristics if we sold. -
Not sure you want all the kids in the stadium to be traumatised when he inevitably gets a serious head injury.

Daniel Farke to Leicester City?
honeybradger replied to londonfoxfan's topic in Leicester City Forum
Why do people not like Farke? If you gave me the choice between him and Martin (who currently seems most likely) I would go Farke every day. -
In our last championship season we only played hermansen and an academy goalkeeper.
-
Why do we need to spend money on a backup goalkeeper, let alone two if Hermansen leaves? Just start Stolarczyk and use a youth keeper as the bench option, any keeper coming to be second fiddle in the championship isn't worth the wages they would demand and Stolarczyk is too good to spend another season on the bench.

Development/Youth Squads 2024/2025 Thread - U18/U21

Is it crazy to say that Evans is more ready for the firs team than Monga? It feels like he scores every game yet has only played a couple minutes for our first team who are crying out for goals. -
They didnt have an agreement to buy him though, they had an option which they didnt want to trigger because he is not worth that much. The concept of a team wanting a player but not being willing to pay over the odds for him has sadly become alien to us as a club.

Will Alves - loaned to Cardiff City
honeybradger replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Can people stop spouting this nonsense that the championship is more physical than the premier league? Winks who has been bullied physically every time he has played this season was one of the best midfielders in the championship, the premier league is faster, stronger and played at a higher intensity over 90 minutes. The championship is dross in comparison hence our awful season despite winning the championship. -
Let's be honest, Bologna were 100% correct to not value Kristiansen at his £15mil option to buy. They are not the villains for being sensible and not wanting to splash out on players that arent worth it. The only reason we get taken advantage of as a club is because our incompetent ownership put us in this position, italian sides just behave in a pragmatic way that we would like to see our club run.

Castagne was a perfect test case for why Rodgers is a mediocre coach. Joined us after being coached by Gasperini, who is world class. First season with us he had a great footballing IQ, always making the right runs going forwards and read the game intelligently when defending. At that point in time he was better than Chilwell and one of the best fullbacks in the league. Fast forward to our relegation season and he was constantly playing the opposition onside and was all over the place defensively. He had become a complete donkey that gave the likes of Amartey and Faes a run for their money in terms of pig headedness. You almost have to treat Castagne in his debut season and his final season as two different players. In the first season he was an important part of the FA cup win, in his last he was a key factor in our relegation.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
honeybradger replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
The number one question any manager needs to be asked before appointed is: Are you, at any point, going to start a football match next season with any of Reid, Ayew, Soumare, Faes, Coady, Vestergaard, Soumare, Kristiansen playing? If so they cannot be allowed the job. -
Ben Nelson - loan to Oxford United - Official
honeybradger replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
He looked class when he played for us last season. Also I know youre going to say that Vestergaard and Faes also looked good but they got exposed a lot last season but weren't punished due to the lack of quality. He can defend at least which none of our others can do. -

One of the worst signings in recent history despite being on a free? This guy is the Danny Ward of wingers, completely useless. -

Loaning out our best centre back is so typical of how poor we are run and how our leadership is so frightened to rely on academy players. -
Surely he has been told to play Faes to get a better sale for him. Sadly it's just going to tank his value further when he has another brain fart.

Who do you want to be our main striker next season?
honeybradger replied to 420Hashish's topic in Leicester City Forum
If we signed one of the top u21 goalscorers from the top 6 on loan people would accept that. We have Jake Evans who is matching those numbers at 16 years old yet no one is considering him replacing Vardy, the kid is paranormal. He would be my pick. -

Evan Ferguson is more washed than Vardy -
The player who defined the club's greatest era. Leicester City will never be the same again with him gone.
-
He's an excellent manager who has got a poor sheffield Wednesday squad playing good football. What he has achieved despite the owner has been remarkable.

Thanks Cooper for getting outplayed by one of the worst sides in PL history then getting bailed out by a red card and Fatawu who he had benched for no reason 👍
