Kelechi is a link up man, that’s his role. We should change the way we play to get the best out of him if he needs to start up top alone when Vardy is out. He functions very well with bodies around him, and often with his back to goal. Get Barnes and Maddison up around him and we will get goals.

Without doubt. He is an out and our winger, and we have loads of fixtures. He will get his chance, if only to evaluate whether or not we want to sign him permanently. Hasn’t had much pre season has he?

Anybody a bit worried about the prospect of a Fofana/Soyuncu partnership? They are both talents, no doubt, but they are both quite gung-ho and are maybe better suited to playing next to a CB who sits (like Evans) rather than being so front foot as they are...

Hopefully he doesn’t ask Savage who his man of the match is...

Interesting to see Fofana getting pretty high up the right flank. Looks very comfortable.

Nacho isn’t a great goal scorer, but his build up play is genuinely very good. I just don’t see how that fits our system. Similar to Perez in some ways. Both players make more sense in behind another striker.

Against the run of play, let’s get on top of these

Nacho needs someone along side him. Unfortunately Perez is basically the only option.
