Daka was surprisingly okay in possession under Enzo, but for me it’s more that he can play on the shoulder, at least in this league, and it means we can really pin teams back - we have struggled when teams have played a higher line and pressed us up the pitch. There is no threat in behind (arguably no threat at all) with Ayew. I personally thought we should have gone for Kone, but we have to use what we have now. Crying out for a more complete forward.

Not that I’d wish injury on any player, but I think the only way we are freed from his slow, lumbering grip is if he gets injured, so I went to check his record… He has missed one game through injury in his entire career, at 34 years old. The bloke is indestructible.

If Ramsey wasn’t a ****ing moron on his debut we’d probably 2nd in the league before the team has really clicked. It’s not been amazing, but first half today was the best football we’ve played imo. Concerned by our attack, and some of his lineups, but that is pretty much all Ayew 😅
