I agree. I think this squad is actually alright. I think we could stay up but I’m not sure it will be down to cooper.
-
Yeah competely agree. If he keeps winning I will happily eat my words. Long live king cooper. Haha
-
I agree with you. If we start to take our selves out of the relegation picture and look mid table it will be a strange looking thread in hindsight. However, I think the thread is still completely valid as I just don’t see that happening under cooper. I really hope it’s does though, would love to jump and bandwagon and deny I was never cooper out. 😂😂

Im delighted we won today. In fairness we didn’t deserve too and we all know it. I think the squad is actually ok. I think today we won despite Steve cooper. This result covers it up.
-
That has brought him another 10 games. Let’s face we were pretty shocking. Happy we won though.
-
Well done, some lovely finishes. Hopefully can kick on, happy for him.

Bournemouth (H) Pre match thread (05.10.24, 3pm)

We will be lucky to get a draw and that what we will be playing for -
That’s the problem IMO. 3 or 4 more matches wasted.
-
As expected, this is the problem. Due to the score line and the timings. Our owners like much of the media narrative will see yesterday as a positive and a win. Its simply not the case. Despite arsenals complete domination, yesterday has brought Steve cooper credit in the bank and it’s seriously worrying.
-
It’s ok to comment on what you see. Nothing deluded, if anything it’s more deluded to say you would just clap along becuase we used to be shit. What I saw was a goal keeper that had to make more saves than any other keeper for 7 years. If your happy with that, you’re part of the problem.
-
Pressure means another 3 games wasted unfortunately. Pressure should already be there.
-
That really frustrating result purely because it buys him more time and it really shouldn’t. We got completely battered from start to finish. The score line hides that. For fans wanting selection changes and manager changes, that result is a very bad one.

Will The Board Ever Admit They Might Be Wrong?
DezFox replied to Parafox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Completely disagree. I actually don’t think this squad is as limited as you and Steve think it is. Under the right manager we should stay up comfortably in my opinion. Still bottom half but stay up. If they open their eyes they will realise that it’s not going to get better, there is lack of plan, direction and ideas to build on. This short sighted game by game view from the board is probably why we are where we are. -
In my opinion he is not likeable at all. He’s a stranger, doesn’t feel like one of us (so to speak)
-
Rudkin wont even notice.
-
By sacking steve cooper, it does not put us in the frame of a team that is just sacking people. We literally keep hold of managers longer than we should, did not sack our last manager, and had a pretty good track record of hiring the right candidate. It’s ok to sack someone who clearly I isn’t the right appointment. It won’t impact our reputation at all. It may even help it given the circumstance.
-
The options are slightly confusing. my opinion is to sack now 100%. However, I think he will do enough to stay for a while and thats extremely worrying. In fact, he will do enough convince the board to stay well past October and that will not be down to his performance. When I say he will do enough, he could literally do anything and we will go through the motions and sack when is normal in footballer terms. It will be too late be then.
-
I absolutely hate it when people suggest wanting him gone is reactionary. Did not want him, it was a bad apointment and it still is. Completely and utterly as expected!! Absolutely zero overreaction from anyone. Just a situation playing out in exactly the way we knew it would. The same predicable outcome that created the negativity from the initial apointment. Every single day with cooper on charge is a day wasted and ultimately a day closer to relegation. Do any, ANYTHING to get him gone.
-
Completely as expected. Steve cooper is delivering exactly what we all knew. And he will still have another 10 games just to be sure he delivers exactly what we all knew. Predictable performance, disgraceful ownership of this football club.
-
Tick tock, tick tock. I will say this every single week. ANOTHER WEEK WASTED WITH COOPER & ONE GAME CLOSER TO RELEGATION Get him gone. Completely as expected.
-
Opinion not changed in anyway from day one. GET THIS CVUNT OUT HE IS SHIT
-
This would be my team also
-
Justin has been bang average this year and we haven’t won a game. Just play Ricardo, he was better than Justin last year, still will be. Not sure why there is even a discussion. Seem some old boys complaining about negativity. Wake up, we we not little old Leicester anymore it ok to want to progress.
-
This is only one of the reasons why Steve cooper should be sacked not in 10 games but now. Every day he is in charge is a day wasted. Don’t hate cooper, he can not believe his luck, well played him. Currently I hate the owners and the board! Madness
-
I’m calling it now. Even if we are winless after 8 games, he is still definitely here. We will just go through the motions to not cause a stir. I think he will be in a position that we are all too familiar with. One win buys him another 5 games regardless of the results of those. Out of curiosity, does anyone know what a potential sacking would cost? Surely given our situation with points deduction we will have given it him in caveat that the pay out isn’t huge? Obviously I know this is us so extremely doubtful.
