Good business from them. Seem to be investing in youth, it’s a good model . It’s a channel I thought we were going down but Rodgers or the powers that be dont seem to be a fan. Real shame. I think we had a real good opportunity to be seen as a place young players can come and make a name for themselves like a poor man’s dortmund. Instead we just sign below average Southampton players on big wages. Slowly undoing a lot of good work in my opinion.

I think it’s good buy for Newcastle, not amazing but will do job but mainly they are weakening a direct rival. Realistically Newcastle will stay up and Burnley will go down this only helps that cause. Quite clever really.

Sounds to me like our defensive issues are more injuries than covid. Think we would be very lucky to get it postponed. Just bad luck really, I often question the premier leagues consistency and and bias toward the “big 6” teams but I’m not sure this is one of them.

Take that really, we were ok second half, finally starting to create again. Some players coming back to form, Barnes, Evans looking better, Maddison getting back to where he was hopefully not injured. Once we add youri again hopefully starting to not look completely abysmal and build on it. KDH looks way ahead of soumare for me but with youri fit not sure what to do. Nacho unlucky. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Let’s face it, it would be wishful think that Man Utd are even considering Rodgers at this stage. Rodgers may have had his head turned like a few senior players and I would imagine it has had a negative impact on performances. I think the best we can hope for at this stage is that Rodgers somehow turns this round. The board are not going sack him. Not sure how to turn it round though maybe a clear the air talks? Not sure. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I know it has been mentioned before but it all seems to have aligned with moving into sea grave? Maybe the teething problems are really showing.

Well beaten today but best I’ve seen this year from us really. Maddison can’t possibly start next game, nacho has to surely. I worry that Perez will come straight back in but hope I’m wrong. It will be interesting to see what team plays against napoli. Great to see some lads getting back to fitness again. Much better defensive display, vesta looked pretty good, as did lookman. A few things to get excited about now with Man City out of way, that was never gonna be easy. Can’t begrudge that performance really, both teams will have easier games than that.
