This is the modern game unfortunately. If this was player we had for years and had signed a new deal even last year I could see his point. Its just the fact he signed a new deal when he had a long term injury and and he not shown any return whatsoever on that. Couple that with the timing of it all, I can see why we are all so frustrated. If Rodgers has taken him out of the squad as his head is not in right place personally I hope we can move on and he can perform well for a year. If he is asking to not play so he can move, stick the w***** in the reserves and tell him if he wants the move next year to get his head down and work hard. If he does that, I would genuinely forgive him.

We obviously have some fringe payers getting paid a little too much and there is clearly an imbalance. However, from the outside looking in, it doesn’t seem like we have been blowing wages everywhere compared to our revenue. How on earth can we be the only team being impacted by this, are the other 19 just all fine, running smoothly. Seems a little strange. Plus it seems like we haven’t just got it a little wrong it sound like we have complete f****d it!!?

I know this will have been said before but the sky sports narrative is just ridiculous. Newcastle are literally renowned for being a joke in recent years, yet all of a sudden they start to be included in a big 7. Just goes to show how money is really the only thing that matters.

Vardy still our best striker keep starting him until he is not. If fit he should be the first name on the team sheet. If another strikers wants chances to start instead of him they need to take their chances (and they will get them) score more often then he does. I would imagine he will sign on for extra year and take a slight cut in wages for the extra year security.

If it’s true and we accepted an offer and he rejected move, there is only one reason for it. Money, who the hell is going to pay him as much as we do. Could be a good signing for them. Considering how many injuries we had last season and how disappointing it was as a whole, they only finished 4 points ahead of us, I wouldn’t say they are pushing top 6 much more than us.
