What daf** are you on about? He played very well in every match he played. In the last couple of games Mavididi is not tracking back enough making it harder for JJ to defend the same as it was with Barnes and whoever played LB. Haven't you noticed that Mavididi is less tired and more productive lately. It's because JJ does most of the work. We never really had problem on the LB position, its our left wingers not putting enough effort on defense.

No question about it, he is miles ahead of Doyle. Before injury JJ was better than most fallbacks in the premier league, and looks like he's back to his old self.

Drop him and play with 2 strikers. Once he is off, Nacho will start scoring.

First he plays LB nothing special about his position. Not LCB or something "archaic" Second JJ could do that and more, he is more versatile, faster, stronger good passer and right footed but also good with his left, problem is or was his injury record. If not for that, things will look very different for him and for leicesteras well. Doyle is very good but main reason he's picked over JJ is left footed while JJ is right. The hype is just because hew our new shining toy and will surely soon oncehe'll make his first mistake, weird to say but Vestegard cover for him a lot, while on Faes manages quite well by himself on the right side of our defense. He's talented for sure, but JJ is miles ahead of, he was picked for NT ffs.

Totally agree. Doyle is good but he is not gonna be here next season. On top of that, VK is much better player IMO, higher potential and he's much more technical and physical. Maresca made a bad one here, sorry but after Rodgers I'm having hard a time accepting dodgy decisions from managers, cause in the long run they're proven to be bad one. In a few years he'll be playing CL football. We'll manage without him and probably be back playing in the PL next season, but really sad to see him leave.

His first season or so as a first team member was great, and I remember everyone on FT saying how he was way better the Chilwell ever was at his age. Personally I still believe that. As with all of our players in the past 2 years, it all comes down to Rodgers "man management" skills. Rodgers took a team of talented players and made looks worse and worse every game, until they believed that themselves. I don't see how thomas fits in with Doyle ( good player great potential, but get exposed more times than i can count, but luckily we didn't conceded because of it), VK ( which is much better player than both at the moment IMO ), and JJ who is better than all of them, more versatile, faster but sadly injury prone), all in front of him in the pecking order. I would love him to extend him contract and stay or get a loan to another championship team, but probably won't happen. * English not my first language so sorry for mistakes. 😅
