Bloody Europeans with their joined up transfer strategies.
-
Matthias Kvistgaarden if it's Russell, would suit him beautifully
-
Completely agree with you on the Howe comparison. I think whoever gets Martin next probably gets the best version of him, similar to how Newcastle have with Howe. I think Martin is just too far wedded to that style to ever be anywhere near a relegation battle
-
Just listened to Martins interview with Linekar. He comes across as a decent, hard working bloke. Certainly better than he does in post match interviews. Hopefully this time away has allowed him to analyse himself and his tactics, but he's obviously not going to change his plan at all. I still have immense reservations about him
-
He's basically Enzo, but without the inventive patterns of play, sexy accent or incredible outfit on first visit to Seagrave.
-
I wonder if we haven't announced next year's kit yet because we have no idea what's going on with these absolute fraudsters
-
Potentially, but always appeared we went Cooper because he was available. If we are doing the same again, there are numerous good options out there (Still, Tedesco, Farioli, Schmidt, Friske, Stephan) Dyche and Martin are both lazy picks.

Which is why it's utterly ridiculous we didn't go for Corberan

Our 15-18 year olds right now are better than anything I can ever remember...huge if, but if we can keep them together we will have an incredible nucleus in 3 or 4 years time. -
Stolarczyk Ricardo Nelson Vestegaard New LB Winks Skipp New CM Fatawu. Mavididi New CF They've basically just gone for as close to Enzo again as they could find

If true, it's the most basic, short term decision we could have made. Top/Rudkin have literally looked for possession based coach who can get us promoted. But what about after that? Where's the long term strategy? Where's the football brain looking at how we absolutely dismantled his side last season, looking at how he was far too wedded to his core principles to get any level of competency from his side this season. I'm sure we will play some lovely stuff under him, but we will have a soft underbelly and only put ourselves further back in the long term.

Russell Martin as manager Glover as head of recruitment Rudkin as director of football Unlikeable FC

Another summer spent guessing of points deductions. Think we are far more likely this time (almost guarenteed). My early guess? 6 -
Schlupp on a 1 year deal? Yeah no problem. Schlupp on the 3 year deal Rudkin will offer him, no thanks
-
I think making it clear he's leaving Sheff Wednesday this early into the summer is a smart move from him. He will end up either in a top championship club or in Germany and be far better off for it.
-
The way other cards seem to be falling, I can see us going for Rohl or keeping Ruud. There is some real proven talent available out of work on the continent now, I'd love us to be brave on it. Rohl will do nicely though!
-
Agree on this, obviously has ability to beat players, but his awareness of when to hold it and play simple is years ahead of 15
-
Farioli would be a fantastic hire.
-
Now that Suzuki is off to Freiburg, time to look for a new attacking midfielder (should we lose Bilal) Toni Fruk from Rijeka or Luciano Valente from Groningen
-
I'm absolutely heartbroken, he will do brilliantly in the bundesliga
-
Ironically, Enzo under-used him last season. He should have got far more appearances. For that, I'll be shocked if anything comes of it, however, if it is, let's rinse them for 30m
-
He'd be absolute chaos and I'm fully here for it.
-
Would love us to pull off a similar appointment to when Fulham got Marco Silva. For me, that's Domenico Tedesco
-
Feel like Dyche has become a walking characterisation of himself lately. Every interview i see with him, he seems more "utter woke nonsense" meme than ever before. That said, he also seems aware enough that he can have a lucrative career as a firefighter against relegation, and that may stop him taking our job.

Absolute no brainer on a free. Darling, Nelson, Souttar and one of Coady/Okoli/Vestegaard works lovely for me.
