Plenty on here describe Seagrave as a giant waste of money, and whilst there is a slight vanity project element to it, the youth players we are seeing now have to be apportioned to it. I’ve been really impressed with just how comfortable they all look, and the level of their decision making. Aluko, Page, Monga, Joseph and Evans all look at least capable of being good squad options (don’t get me started on how good I think Monga already is). Cifuentes is the perfect coach to give them this responsibility too, if he does what he did at Hammarby.

Can see Alves being used as a 10 more, would actually love during pre season to see a front 4 of Fatawu, Alves, Monga and Mavididi, purely for the dribbles. We will need an attacking midfielder and a centre forward as high priority.

Erabi is a shout as a CF/AM option, probably more as a squad player for now. I can see Cifuentes going back to Hammarby for Markus Karlsson, would be a natural Winks replacement, probably good enough going forward to play alongside him too.

Shuto Machino from Kiel. 11 goals and 4 assists in a relegated side last season, good link up. £5m being talked about as enough to get him in.

Not worried about his time at Heerenveen? Granted I’ve seen nothing of him but could easily just be on an excellent season rather than being a consistent performer. Personally I prefer Kasper Hogh at Bodo Glimt. I’m struggling for CF options though, maybe Thom Van Bergen at Groningen or if we have the money, Salech from Cardiff.
