  1. Praying Ipswich come up with us, followed by West Brom or Norwich winning playoffs.
  2. Came in, club in an absolute mess (still is), but has really turned the atmosphere round from day 1. Yes he has lots still to learn, but he implemented his style really quickly to a group of players short on confidence. He had 1 job, get us back ASAP and has done it. Forza Enzo
  3. If he's still got it in the tank and the terms are right then another year makes sense. I think a number 9 is high priority for the summer but Vardy and Cannon or Daka as the other choices isn't too bad!
  4. This is actually a good idea from the club! Wasn't there a new hire in the supporter liaison team (or whatever it is?). Maybe a sign they aren't totally useless?
  5. Hope not, if last night is anything to go off, I'd rather have Faes!
  6. Completely agree with this, I was thinking during the 2nd half, we haven't looked this controlled out of possession all season. Southampton very rarely got into dangerous positions, we looked in shape the majority of the time and our targeted press from the front was excellent. Saints were dire yes, but that level and style of performance has to be the blueprint for next season when we will likely see 30-40% possession more often than 60-70%
  7. Been accused of being Enzo and Puel on this thread. Jokes on you when you all realise I'm Paulo Sousa
  8. Steadied himself wonderfully for his second, something he has to, and obviously has, worked on. He's got serious, serious talent. Love him
  9. So much better when we play with intensity. It allows us to tear teams apart in the shapes Enzos tactics creates for us. Gives great hope for next season if Enzo stays.
  10. Just utterly faultless. An incredible performance
  11. Easily performance of the season this! Love it when we play with this level of intensity
  12. Loved having Wilf at the club, but just feel like he's done. His performances since returning from injury have been horrific, will gladly see him move on in the summer.
  13. Look into Kamory Doumbia at Brest. Looks a real talent.
  14. 14 from 75th minute + It's my number 1 annoyance with Enzo, his subs are always too late
  15. Southampton are wonderful at shitting themselves when it matters. Flat track bullies when no pressure, but never fancied them to have the balls for the run in
  16. Presuming we go up, I think Jordan James from Birmingham would be perfect for the role. @Ric Flairhas mentioned Kypriannou from Peterborough on here, but whether he's PL ready is a big question. We could also look at Charlie Patino from Arsenal but doesn't have James' dynamism for me
  17. I'm sure he put Coady into the side last minute because of questions rather than work on it for a few days in training, that's exactly what coaches do 👌
  18. Subs could all have been made 5-10 minutes earlier, however, got his starting line up spot on today
  19. Happy to be corrected, but I think if we draw on Tuesday, we will only have to match Ipswichs results (and win at least 2 points in doing so) in the final 2 matches fo be guaranteed promotion.
  20. Find it very funny that the consistent moan has been we are too boring and lack bottle. The game we entertain far more and show some guts, it's "we will get battered next year". As always, the truth lies somewhere in the middle.
  21. That win removes the pressure on this one and I'd 100% take a point at this stage. Think they will give us chances though, would like to see Ricardo and Cannon come in for Ndidi and Vardy (imagine it's Daka for Vardy though). Will be an open game!
  22. Phew!! Huge win. Showed real bottle that we haven't always seen. Coady and Hamza were brilliant
  23. In fairness Ric, Wasserman are a huge agency. But it's an interesting point. We will spend weeks chasing Potter and then probably end up with Benitez
  24. I agree with this, and he should have recognised the squad isn't suited to him and adjusted. However, there aren't many players in the squad you could class as "technicians"
  25. Agree, this is why I don't lay as much blame at Enzos feet. Genuinely feel he has a squad that largely doesn't suit him, and that, again, comes back to DOF and recruitment. If we'd have kept Kristiansen, bought in Winks and Coady still, we would have been perfect for playing wing backs.
