I'm utterly convinced by Abdul, think he's got everything. Works hard, full of tricks, pace, a good left foot and getting better on his right. Needs to work on his composure, but seeing signs already that he's improving on that. Can see him being the next one we sell for 50m+ in a few years.

Scores goals, but from a statistical model doesn't stand out. Have to confess, haven't seen enough of him to make a judgement but on a free I do wonder if he could be an option similar to how Enzo viewed Casadei, as someone who covers ground well, decent in the air and arrives late in the box. If the deal was right I'd much rather we took a punt on him as opposed to O'Hare or Sensi on similar deals.

Surely a fair argument to make that anything under 10m leaves us pretty breakeven once a replacement comes in. Unless there's a serious issue between VK and Enzo, whether that be style or personality, I'd like to see him stay.

You don't know that, he didn't want to be 3rd choice in the championship, which i don't blame him at all for. He made a good choice going to Bologna. However, we aren't in a position to make losses on player sales and need to utilise the squad we have to limit the transfers we have to make.

I can see Soumare being a backup for either the Winks or Ndidi roles. If KDH stays I really struggle to see who we can shift out for profit. Maybe we can cash in on Hamza whilst his stock is relatively high? Maybe Patson could command a decent fee?

I do wonder if the incoming financial rules in 25/26 lead us to roll the dice more this season, take the points hit and try to build a squad more sure to stay up. Whilst the new rules should bridge the gap between top and bottom of PL, I do wonder if it will create a chasm between PL and Championship that we will want to make sure we don't fall the wrong side of.
