I’m sure Ant Middleton is going round all of the beach clubs and Hyrox gyms rounding them up to fight back as we speak. (Edited to say that obviously it’s not funny when any civilian is under attack, but there’s definitely a certain irony that a good number of influencer, forex trader and general right wing grifter types that left the UK because ‘it’s on it’s ar$e’ and ‘not safe anymore’ are having to sleep in their hallways away from the windows because they’re literally coming under fire from ballistic missiles)

Jordan Ayew might be the only thing I hate more than temporary greens, most of the time I'd rather not bother.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!

The bloke just does not care, says something that the most passion we've seen out of him at any point was his response to the Palace fans at the end of the game last season. -
Longcliffe was closed all weekend, although is apparently open today with only 2 temps which I am surprised about given how cautious they've been so far this winter. It does normally drain pretty well to be fair. The Belfry really suffers in the wet doesn't it? It must have been really bad for them to offer you a voucher considering how much £££ they like to squeeze out of every customer there.

I have had this thought, not sure it's the entire motivation but I think the idea that this plays out for a while and he can then declare an emergency would be more than just a 'happy accident'. He/they'll then point to the fact there haven't been elections in Ukraine as justification. Also, and I'm no expert in this field, but part of me thinks he's quite happy for the Straight of Hormuz to be closed as surely this pushes up the price of his Venezuelan oil?

Who knew Steven Nzonzi was still a thing? Half expecting Bojan and Jonathan Walters to come on at half time.

Every time I think I’ve rationalised internally just how far we’ve fallen, something else comes along to reinforce it even further. Last night, at 1-1, the LiveScore app had our game highlighted as ‘upset in progress’. Jesus man.

This has prompted me to go back and watch the video of Eamon Holmes falling off his chair live on GB News, so just want to say thanks for that.

Not a fan of the way he has conducted himself the past 18 months, in an ideal world he's banished to the reserves and we never see his face again. However in reality a committed and motivated Harry Winks is one of the better midfielders in the league. If Rowett can get a tune out of him for the next couple of months, we're just going to have to hold our noses and suck it up if it gives us the best chance of staying up. I don't particularly care what his motivation is, we're not in a position to cut off our nose to spite our face. After that he can f**k off and sit on Brentford's bench and we can all forget he ever played for us.

Exactly the sort of player we should have been going for the summer before last, would have probably cost £10M less than Skipp.

Yeah you do need to be careful, but thankfully there are a few tells, and thankfully the one in Coalville seems to stock the real stuff as well. As you say one is the writing on the bottle neck, also if you look at the label the Czech stuff will say 'Imported and distributed in the UK by Molsen Coors' whereas the UK version will say brewed in the UK. The bottle lids are different as well and apparently the barcode on the Czech bottles starts with 859 as opposed to 50 if it's the Burton version. Big fan of Budvar as well, but agree that Pilsner Urquell's the best, just wish you could get it on tap reguarly!

Haha yes I’m inclined to believe it is probably an impressionist, but that its totally feasible that it could actually be him is wild.
-
Do you reckon Trump can cook a cheeseburger?
-
I’d be considerably poorer if Adidas gave us even half the stash Arsenal get.
-
Learned this week that the Staropramen sold in Lidl is the genuine Czech stuff and not brewed in Burton. Can’t get enough of Czech pilsners (Urquell etc) so at less than £2 a bottle it’s been a dangerous discovery.

Can’t say I find their players any more objectionable than any of the other big six teams. And I’m not on any social media other than this place so the only fans of theirs I have any exposure to are the handful I know personally. Who to be fair are all pretty sound and certainly no less bearable than any others. (The Villa fans I know are the hardest work). Agree that Man City winning means virtually nothing, which to be honest is a bit sad in a way, hence someone different is at least a bit more interesting.
-
Agree with this. The football’s not great, and Arteta whines a bit, but rooting for Man City over them, considering all they’ve won and the 115 charges etc is weird to me.

2 extended arms in the base of the back in that situation is always going to be given as a foul, soft or not. Especially as it directly led to a goal. I get that people seem to want to see Arsenal ‘bottle it’, but if that happens to Nelson and we concede people would be up in arms.

Nice to see him doing well after a bit of a rough start to his PGA tour season. Think he’s the real deal, I’d have had him on the last Ryder Cup team.

Fairly obviously wasn’t comfortable with that trick right from the start. Seems a strange choice unless it was her only option to get the additional 3.5 points required for bronze.

Realistic Managerial Replacements

Martin got married at the weekend apparently. A 2 week honeymoon in the Maldives balls deep in Lucy Pinder twice a day, or a 3 month stint at the KP trying to induce more than a jog out of Jordan Ayew. Tough choice! -
That's my favourite, especially as most of them don't realise that the ball doesn't actually need to be touching the line, just overhanging.
-
'WE BACK THE TEAM'... by sitting in silence for 90 minutes. They're free to start the Mavididi or Daka chants if they want. I also bet they groan reaaaaally loudly when one of our players makes a fairly basic, but inconsequential, mistake, or loses the ball trying a risky pass. That's the most noise some people make all game, other than to berate the referee.
-
Probably the correct call ‘technically’. Whilst we all want to see the goal given, you have to go by the letter of the law. By the same token, if they were to beat Arsenal to the title by a single goal that by the letter of the law should have been ruled out, but was given for the entertainment, then it opens a can of worms. Also, Szoboszlai committed a red card offense, if you’re playing Liverpool midweek you’d be pi$$ed off if he wasn’t (correctly) sent off.

Taggart blaming the pitch for their goal, has he been on the Karoline Leavitt class for gaslighting?
