Yeah kind of agree with this aswell although I’d caveat it with just because the lad is 6’2 doesn’t necessarily mean he’s an arial threat if he’s kack in the air and doesn’t use his height effectively. Some big lads play like they’re small but hopefully he does use his height to his advantage and can head a ball

Totally agree, I think more people would get on board with us being mid table but giving lots of playing time out to our younger players that you could see we’re trying to improve them in order to mount a challenge down the line where as instead we’re crappy mid table while playing experienced pros who just don’t care

I think he’d of done better in there than having to do recovery sprints every 5 mins at fullback, it’s almost like he doesn’t know he’s lost pace so h still give the winger so much room with his positioning but can’t get across the ground quick enough to deal with it
