  1. 5th different coach of the season, bonkers. Non-Playing staff reshuffle to boot.
  2. 9 points from 23 games with 61 goals shipped thus far, that is impressively good. 3 seasons ago they finished 2nd, just an unpleasant reminder how things can go so wrong, so quick.
  3. If I said Moreno, Micheal Lamey and Franck Moussa, what would spring to mind? I remember Moussa scoring against Scunthorpe with Chris Powell being in temporary charge, think the other two might have been Paulo Sousa signings. Cracking fashion sense, almost wish he'd done okay here just to see what gear he'd wear each week. To be fair he's done alright for himself as a manager. What an odd time, seems like a lifetime ago.
  4. £38 for a return flight to Morocco mid September, Arrive in Marrakesh. Up to Casablanca then flying home from Rabat. Thinking 6 days is enough to get an idea of what Morocco is all about. Also read online their domestic league starts mid September so hoping my trip coincides with a Botola match.
  5. @Koke Other than an avenue for discussion, what practical value is there for fans to criticise certain individuals, non-playing and playing staff? This entire notion of "I pay for my ticket, therefore, I say what I want, when I want" is utterly barbaric.
  6. Not adopting a 'minimalist' approach to living is such a waste of non-renewable resource and is damaging to us as conscious beings. Less is more, in all almost every aspect of human life.
  7. Penalties or not, and forgive me because I do not have a superlative to describe his worth to the team, let alone his goal-scoring but overall play is undeniable to us. I'm sure people will make a case for his supposed 'decline' through a lack of goals from open play but I think for his style of play you have to look beyond that.
  8. Pains me to say it but I would rest Vardy all the way through to Sheffield United. The cliche every game in the Premier League is tough for varying reasons but these next three are somewhat winnable, even with a depleted squad. They'll sit off the so the onus will be on us to create, admittedly I've never really watched Tavares beyond the obligatory highlight reel but if he isn't ready to play against Burnley then he'll never be ready. Looking at the fixture list we have got to win these next three games if top 4 is even in the vernacular of our minds come May.
  9. I'll mention it for the 1000th time. He's been 'rushed' back after surgery and we all, myself included have become so accustomed to him absolutely bullying teams, week in week out. In addition, the fixture congestion and not having one of the most creative midfielders in the league behind him also doesn't help. Yes he'll inevitably start to slow down but the coaching staff will manage him accordingly. No doubt in my mind, he is still crucial to us and time and time again he'll deliver when we need him most.
  10. Think they'll do well under Pearson. Not completely beyond them points wise to time a late run into the play-offs. After what happened at Watford he'll be itching for a seat at the big boys table, go on Nigel.
  11. If anybody has a logical answer as to why after scoring we completely sacked that game off, I would love to know? I haven't seen such a poor Arsenal side in my lifetime, albeit relatively short. Yes the disappointment from Thursday, yes the seemingly ever-growing injury list, yes the fatigue of a congested fixture scheduling, yet after 6 minutes we put ourselves in such a positive position, it almost seemed inevitable we'd still find a way to 'give' them an opportunity. Despite how good we've done up to this point in the season the lingering air of complacency always seemed to be in the air, I never felt comfortable in that game and Arsenal didn't even get out of second gear.
  12. Burnley away, a fixture absolutely nobody wants for a mirage of footballing reasons, especially now. This is our Trojan War so unleash the Trojan horse, Morgan, Mendy, Amartey, Choudhury. Strap yourself in because none of us are ready.
  13. What a difference a mere three days can make. If we do finish top 4 taking into account the disappointment of last season' finish, couple that with the injuries. I've gone from quietly confident to worryingly apprehensive, almost overnight.
  14. Anyone a fan of the Hitman series? Absolution & Blood Money are £15 as a bundle on PS store. Grew up playing the earlier games on the PC with Blood Money being my personal favourite. Agent 47 is a right bald b******
  15. Clearly has ability going forward, yet evidently caught wanting in other areas and ultimately in the Premier League, being 'cute' isn't enough. Played his part in breaking our hoodoo at Arsenal so we'll always have that. His record at international level is nothing to be sniffed at so I can't imagine he'll struggle to get a decent move in the summer..
  16. Every right to be dissapointed with the level of performance over two legs. However, it only feels like yesterday the feeling of disbelief when losing to Cardiff or Watford in the play-offs. In fact I was more annoyed when we lost to Portsmouth 6-1 on Sky. Just goes to show how far this football club has kicked on, certainly in my time as a supporter, anyway. Just enjoy the ride. (Timely thread by the way)
