Feels like a key moment on the protests, I’ve attended both and was really disappointed to see probably less people on the 2nd vs the 1st, yesterdays protest felt like a loss. My fear is that we continue to see less people each time and rather than shine a light on the ownership the main noise and PR that comes from it is of benefit to the pro kpfc groups, effectively giving them each week proof in their eyes that it’s a tiny minority that they can then promote over social media . We’ve asked for support from the wider base, if we can’t get it now I genuinely can’t see a point that we will……ffs someone cheer me up.

Sheffield United H Match Thread
Denzel the fox replied to urban.spaceman's topic in Leicester City Forum
Great finish …….but surely it occurs to someone to mark the free man on the edge of the box, basics, any loose ball out he has a free shot -
A very public display from him too at the end of the brum game standing on the touchline at the final whistle all on his Todd when everyone else went into the middle of the pitch. He’s done a few things like this, in the fiorentina game I noticed he came on at half time to warm up, 5 of the young lads were already warming up with one ball, rather than have a word as a senior player and split the group in two so everyone could warm up properly he went off again on his own ignoring the young lads until one of the coaching staff pulled him up.

Andy is a harborough lad, West Ham fan but must have a soft spot for city

We might not have been pleased with only this signing in the window ….but a scenario without it would mean thomas being the only other fit full back to fill in at right back 😳, now there’s a thought
-
And on the flip side, I had a look at permanent signings over the last three years , there’s 18 I think and at best 5 or 6 can be counted as being consistent starters in their time here. So 70% odd of signings have been failures. Imagine failing 70% of the time at work

Totally agree. I’m aware of a ban handed down to a young lad who picked a pyro up after it had been thrown, literally landed at his feet and he picked it up for a few seconds, didn’t waive it around or anything and then dropped it all of which was on film. yes maybe naive and stupid to pick up but the police accepted he hadn’t brought it into the ground or set it off and didn’t see any reason to proceed , not only did the club ban him but they pushed the police to take action, which thankfully they didn’t do.

Cancelled train & refunds
Denzel the fox replied to onekeithweller's topic in Ticket News and Travel
If it’s a specific train your ticket was booked on and it was cancelled I think you’ll be eligible for a refund. If it’s an open ticket and is simply not used by you (Ie it’s not scanned or goes through a machine) you can get a refund as it’s a refundable ticket (nice little trick if you travel and you don’t get scanned and the barriers are open, get your money back and trip for free). -
Southampton vs Leicester (A) - October 19th
Denzel the fox replied to 420Hashish's topic in Leicester City Forum
Don’t forget we had garner a midfielder as the other full back too and it took us 65 mins to attack him, with him being booked within 10 mins of this…..obvious weaknesses in that Everton team which we stood off from -
Bottom 7 have just 2 wins between them, accepting some have played each other but that’s 42 attempts to win a match!

Singing/Standing Section Updates
Denzel the fox replied to niyaminski's topic in Leicester City Forum
What intrigues me about the singing section is that every time I look over from SK4 (by the way i think the singing section is great so I’m not having a pop) they all seem to be standing….why don’t we all just stand…..we do at away games…..all away fans do at our ground too. -
Totally agree, we are left if true with a manager who will jump as soon as a big club comes calling, going to make signings difficult for enzo if players know he’s not committed……we’ll have to leave that to rudkin……

Has anyone been on any Chelsea boards? I can’t imagine the prospect of Chelsea fans having Maresca or McKenna after 1 and 2 decent seasons at a lower level aligns with their idea of being one of europes biggest clubs?
-
Aside from the plan b issue, the point I’m still struggling with is his acceptance of risk near our own goal and his reluctance to take almost any risks when we have possession in the attacking third……odd given the attacking scenario, all we’ll do is lose the ball rather than concede a goal, outside of all the tactical stuff risk vs reward seems arse about face
-
Not in anyway attempting to make excuses for the major cock up on our boards part but based on this half the PL on an average spend last year (assuming they spend the same or similar in the other 2 years of 3) are on course to breach financial spending as well. Just shows how the model is so broken…….in addition to seemingly people not being able to count within our club
-
If I understand this correctly we are not only in huge trouble this year but for at least another 2 years after this one, even with promotion I can’t see us not breaching again in each of the next two years given it’s calculated on the three year rolling basis. If we stay down (ok we can contest 2 years on the fact we were a PL team at the time) but our losses in the last year alone are 3 times what the efl allows over a three year period! We simply won’t be able to trade our way out of this.

LCFC must offer General Sale to fans
Denzel the fox replied to Union FS's topic in Leicester City Forum
Any idea how many members there are? Let’s say 10,000 , that’s £400k a year ,not even £8k a week. Surely given wages of players and all the benefits of attracting new fans, retaining old etc the income barely makes a difference to the club playing devils advocate for a moment, if we believe the security element , give memberships for free or say £5 per person to cover any costs of the card , postage etc -
Randomly checked, She was coming in on an adults ticket I think with a guys name
-
Witnessed a young girl, maybe early teens in tears as she was turned away from the ground for having a season ticket in someone else’s name. She was wearing a city shirt, I guess been looking forward to it, she was heart broken, so was her dad, zero risk in letting her in. felt so sorry for her , surely a bit of common sense needed.
