  1. The Historical Kits is a very good website. I was surprised that the red shirt was listed as the main shirt in circa 1903. Has anyone got more information on this. I know we had red as a change kit going back but not aware as main kit?
  2. Not too bothered who wins. Hope it is entertaining match. If anything would prefer United to win just to mix it up ever so slightly. Not used to backing Man U over an opponent but Man C hoovering honours up is getting boring. Mind would have been worse choosing Coventry
  3. I was lucky enough to see Banks, Shilton and Wallington. All great keepers for us. Kasper right up there with them with the added achievements of major honours as a Leicester player (I know Gordon won the fledgling League Cup in 64)
  4. Still boggles my mind that it was our club that pulled off the most amazing surprise ever in team sport. Kasper was so eloquent in describing it all. It really would be worthy of a sporting drama.
  5. Marvellous
  6. Steve Earle v Spurs 1973
  7. Of course I meant Moyes
  8. Cooper, Noyes or Robins
  9. I'm old enough to remember Frank O'Farrell going to Man U.
  10. Staggering how the country is going down the tubes. Which reminds me again the scandal of the state of our rivers while shareholders take profits yet companies want higher bills. Perhaps get the criminals out of prison to clean up the environment of litter and crap.
  11. His personality shone through at vital stages in our greatest season. He seemed to be able to deflect pressure away from the players and managed the media
  12. Peter Shilton at the Dell 1967
  13. With commentary by Barry Davies
  14. Yes boring isn't it. Only up side is it possibly weakens a team we want to compete with
  15. They currently seem quite a powerful unit when on song. Time will tell if progress will be sustained
  16. No doubt you are correct. Just that Palace doing so well at end of season reminds me a little bit of us in 2015
  17. Outside of Manchester City and their support it is getting boring for everyone else. At the bottom interest only maintained because of the points deductions.
  18. Palace finishing season with a florish. Interesting to see if they keep players and get a good start next season.
  19. First and foremost society needs protection. Take the case of John Straffen. He killed 2 young girls and was sent to Broadmoor. He escaped and was free for just a few hours but in that time killed another young girl. He was locked up for the next 55 years. Simply no alternative as hanging was ruled out in his case
  20. What is his injury record like? I like your reasoning about 2 or 3 seasons if Sammie can stay fit
  21. Agreed. Simply riding on fairly ancient history
  22. Surely we know what the major trophies are. Bit like the majors and grand slams in golf and tennis. The other honours are very welcome of course but the majors in our domestic football are those when you are competing in the top division or in cups when the top division is included.
  23. Damage the game in the quest for more and more money. For crying out loud there is nothing these greedy suits won't do?
  24. Found an old Spurs v Leicester programme from 16 December 1967. A match that was noted for an excellent Peter Shilton performance when still only 18 and we won 1-0 due to an Alan Tewley goal. The programme stated Leicester City have never won the League Championship or the F A Cup. Yet for a club drawing only moderate support compared with their big city rivals, Leicester have maintained a commendable position in the First Division for years. We can afford a smile looking at that first sentence now all these years on.
  25. Very small minded fans and a bit twisted by the rivalry with Arsenal.
