How do you define a club legend?

If Vardy had gone to Arsenal he would just have been another player and probably left them a few years ago -
So pleased when we avoid these away to lower league side matches. Over the years Spurs were a big FA Cup side. Anyone under 40 odd will struggle to remember their last win though

Reminds me of a bet I won for £10 in mid 70s with a bloke at work England player photo. He said it was Mike Doyle I said Trevor Cherry. Newspaper revealed answer following week. -

That goal! I think we would gladly accepted an own goal or bouncing in off someone's backside to win it but a picture goal from 25 plus yards into the top corner was dreamlike. I can still get emotional thinking about it. Go on Youri shoot. Oh it's gone past the keeper oh GOAL. Come on lads don't lose it now. Then the longest half hour ever. -

Would most here include Banks and Shilton? I wonder if Everton fans consider Mike Trebilcock a legend. 2 goals in the 1966 F A Cup Final (after they were 0-2 down) but played less than 2 dozen matches in his time there -

Players well before our time but in the record books must qualify. Black, Chandler, Rowley. All the 2015-16 team and yes Youri. By the way that is a great montage at Arsenal where the greats are linked arm in arm with names on the back -

This is the crunch issue. When we were good players without fear but not prone to stupid errors that allow teams to score without having to create the opportunity. This squad full of gormless errors -

Good points. For the number of players that advance to our own team for years of service or sold for big fees scrap the lot and save the money?

Your wife might want to include Jon Hamm as part of the deal

Not something that many of us would accuse the original film of.

This is what makes me laugh. Good or bad the past is history. The self loathing seems to be a particular thing in Britain. Slavery a stain but who were capturing the slaves and selling them.

The empire building was done before we were a proper democracy. Looking at the history of my own family I won't be taking on any guilt. You make it sound like no other country was at it. You could trace a lot of our financial issues to the 2 world wars.

So often when Newcastle are discussed their last major honour is quoted as 1955 FA Cup. I would be miffed if we had won the old Fairs Cup as they did in 1969 not to be counted. It was certainly a big thing at the time

Last time the yanks thought Canada would be a walkover they got a bloody nose.

Not seen Day Of The Jackal. The original film with Edward Fox was so brilliant. This new series has a big following and some love it but I have heard others think it is daft

If fitness could be guaranteed? But not exactly inspired by the lack of match fitness even if OK in everyday sense of the word.

Our old players as brain dead as the current right back
