  1. A big concern this. Does anyone know if this would mean public money going into improvement of the Man U stadium or simply the surroundings or no public money at all?
  2. A time to be soberly dressed and put the phone or camera away
  3. Nice to know he still gets up their hooter. Any Spurs fan under 70 will struggle to remember their last league win. Any under 40 the last FA Cup or under the age of 23 the League Cup.
  4. Yes it was more Ruud than Mark that finish.
  5. I remember going into work next day in an office full of Spuds rather enjoyable that was
  6. The League Final was painful but we did the league double over them that season. We've had some right bashings but some lovely unexpected wins too. Lost 61 Cup Final but won at their place when they were middle of winning double. Remember a 1-0 there when Shilton saved everything. The 2006 Cup game was unbelievable at the time
  7. We should insist they play Liverpool again
  8. I've always said you don't really know what a place is like until you experience close neighbours. It is so dependent on consideration and respect and empathy. These qualities are vital to us all getting on unless you have large private grounds with no immediate neighbours.
  9. Our way people with garage attached next to house never use garage for car. Probably full of household stuff. Use the 2 spaces outside garage then other family members take other spaces in front of neighbours
  10. If nothing else we enjoy the feeling of sunshine on our backs for a few days as relief from this winter of discontent
  11. I can see the irony. Spurs terrible in League but win a cup or two. Obviously hope not
  12. Probably didn't think he would need him against us. Either way not good.
  13. Maddison was sore. I remember Steve Claridge writing about the same players crying off as soon as they had the most minor knock when others wanted to play
  14. Shame none of it translated to honours since Alf Ramsey. Sometimes established players are picked when they have lot their edge. I remember Lineker should have been in the side before he got a proper look in. Thank goodness Alf picked Hurst and Peters in 66 despite only a few caps between them going in World Cup
  15. I've never sounded more south London than when I'm shouting come on Leicester
  16. 2 more for 200 goals for us in first class matches
  17. We all know they would loved to have him since 2012
  18. Funny, over the years we seem to do better away at Spurs than home. Absolutely surprised and delighted today. I suppose we will hear more about Spurs injuries but we have missed players too
  19. Turned out nice again!
  20. I would love us to win
  21. Just to add if I followed my Dad's team it would be West Ham. If my brother's it would be Spurs. If the nearest to my birth place then Chelsea or Fulham. Think I made the right choice(despite the regular relegations)
  22. We are far more vulnerable to a pasting
  23. No links at all. Yes I probably need therapy. Started at age 6 when Leicester were in 1963 Cup Final. Something appealed to me before the game and even though we lost I decided this was my team. Then watching England Gordon Banks of Leicester was my hero. Even at an early age it was apparent to me that you don't change teams after you have a club
  24. It could be described as a way of Manchester United discouraging away support let alone a rip off. That they say they need the revenue while paying ridiculous wages to players is laughable
