You need an outsider with the right kind of mentality as well, not just an outsider. The main thing is you need Top / Rudkin to listen to anybody other than themselves - not sure how likely that is regardless of who’s the manager tbh.

The main concern for me is how likely anybody from that era would be to call out Top/Rudkin or criticise, even behind closed doors. I think we need to stay well away from anybody with previous connections, get an ‘outsider’ in to fix the culture.

I think a lot of that is the difference in players around him. 23/24 he linked up incredibly well with Ndidi. Also had KDH and Vardy. Slightly different to having Ayew plod around 30 yards away from the box.

There are new restrictions on how much of the equity injection from an owner is allowed to be included in the calculation. The issue is that there are genuinely few other opinions. People who are still KP in can’t seem to articulate why so resort to name-calling and claiming they are better fans.

There is no energy from the fan base for the protests. We have had in the few hundreds for the previous 2 and for the gathering outside the stadium after relegation was actually confirmed. It’s almost impossible to mobilise any more numbers despite there being frustration and anger shown on here and other platforms. I think that’s the reason for the boycott rather than a protest.

They had a meeting with the FAB on Monday night where FAB members specifically requested them to.
