  1. Leicester City Football Club is trialling random ticket ID checks for supporters visiting away stadiums next month to help improve fan safety and tackle ticket touting. - Random away ticket ID checks to be in place from 4 March - The checks are aimed at improving fan safety and matchday experience These ticket ID checks, which are also aimed at reducing the increasing instances of anti-social behaviour seen at away games, will start from Saturday 4 March, when the Men’s First Team travel to face Southampton in a 5:30pm GMT kick-off at St Mary’s Stadium. This means that, while the vast majority of tickets will be distributed to purchasing supporters in advance as normal, a small number of tickets will be retained and held for matchday collection at the relevant away ground. Supporters that have purchased these tickets will be asked to present a photo ID that corresponds with the owner of the match ticket in order to collect. While the process for the majority of supporters will remain unchanged, the small number of supporters who have been selected at random for the ticket ID check will be contacted directly by Leicester City ahead of each fixture with full details. The Club is conducting ticket ID checks to help prevent abuse of the away ticket priority system, to ensure that only supporters that legitimately qualify to access away tickets are entering visiting sections and to help combat the problem of ticket touting, which is an issue that affects many clubs and supporters. Supporters are politely reminded that all tickets purchased from the Football Club are strictly non-transferable and that the unauthorised sale of tickets may amount to a criminal offence. If you are selected for a random ticket ID check, you will be asked to proceed to a designated collection point at the stadium on the day of the match with a valid photo ID. If your ID matches the ticket owner, the Club will then issue you with your match ticket. The Football Club understand that these checks may cause some inconvenience and thanks supporters for their patience as it kindly asks for cooperation and understanding in this matter. These checks are necessary to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all fans attending away games.
  2. This episode is something else.
  3. It was because KDH handballed it when he hit the ground.
  4. Wasn’t sure where to put this, but England u21 v France u21 at King Power in March. Wonder if any of our lads will be involved.
  5. I had the unfortunate experience of being near some of the UnionFS lot throughout the game. Whilst I admire and appreciate their overall aim of improving atmosphere at home there was unfortunately little attempt to do the same in this away end. Constant immature drivel and it was painful to be near. It’s stuff like that, as well as some heated confrontation by one of them, that doesn’t help their cause or people getting behind them. Not to say they should be the only ones trying to generate an atmosphere, agreed it has been dire away from home for a long time. Sadly for me it’s a reflection of the apathy that most are feeling towards the club at the moment. No desire or excitement on the pitch is bound to feed through into the crowd.
  6. We’re such an odd team. No disputing that a better opposition would have beaten us on Thursday and again today. We give up so many chances and I expect we’ll do the same and be heavily punished against Man City. However, 2 huge results in a row. Decent subs from Brendan today as well I thought.
  7. Really poor half from us. A Braybrooke shaped hole in the middle of the pitch.
  8. He’s absolutely atrocious. Worst keeper in the league by a distance. Has no command or conviction in what’s he’s doing and it just radiates panic throughout the whole team. Needs benching immediately.
  9. Braybrooke in the video of firsts training.
  10. Maybe last line ‘There aint no other who can score goals like these’ So it rhymes (ish) with the ‘need’
  11. Odunze made some superb saves, his kicking was awful all night though. Standouts for me would be Alves and Wormleighton. Braybrooke I felt struggled in the first half but was brilliant second. Cartwright looked the most out of his depth imo.
  12. They’re sending upper tier back if we don’t shift the remaining tickets. I was holding off but have bought mine now, will swap to the upper tier at a later point if it opens.
  13. It's recently been renewed unfortunately, although on a much shorter term (I think 2 years).
  14. For anyone else interested you can buy online through Bradford's ticketing website. Only £5 for adults. Looking forward to this, a new ground for me.
  15. Anyone know if the club will be selling tickets for Bradford away in the EFL trophy?
  16. We've been treading a dangerous path for a long time. Paying wages as if we were a Top 6 team without the commercial revenues to match it. Add in the fact we now own the Women's team, we have the costs of running both Belvoir Drive and the ridiculous costs of running Seagrave - both of which offer no return. The warning signs have been there in the last few sets of accounts, some truly horrible underlying operational results masked by significant profits on player trading. Missing out on the Champions League in the fashion we did (twice) was so so costly. We need a huge reset of the wage structure and I imagine there are some tricky times ahead, especially with the number of players out of contract at the end of this season and the threat of relegation. We are not far from all of the hard work in establishing ourselves in the Premier League being undone in my opinion.
  17. Very lucky to get away with that one. Daresay if it was the other way round there'd have been a lengthy VAR check.
  18. Brendan will absolutely love that media spin. Something he'd come out with.
  19. Horrible feeling it might be Liverpool. (No info to support that, just a gut feeling).
  20. Another away game, another email administrative error where they've included home priority points rather than away. This club is a shambles sometimes.
  21. Step 1: Remortgage your house. Step 2:
  22. I was in the upper tier, first 30 minutes or so was very good. Mostly flat second half with a couple of decent spells.
  23. Some odd comments in here. He made 2 seriously good saves today. No blame on him as to why we didn't get at least a point.
