  1. Reasons why he wasn’t happy have left.
  2. Like he gets a say in transfers.
  3. Kasper, mads, Victor and Vesty!! Nice!
  4. 23 please.
  5. Was doggo in that role relegation season. PL largely found him out. Too likely to spend 1/3 of a season injured. We can do better now.
  6. Funny - when i was younger i never associated Chelsea as a big club. They were always plucky strugglers and sorted themselves late Ken bates era. Dodgy Russian oil bought their way to the riches and the big time, but i still don't consider them a big club. Just one who spends a sh1t load of cash.
  7. F4cking Cooper.
  8. For the sake of my sanity, please stop.
  9. Has anyone mentioned Dave Bassett yet?
  10. You say this like overlapping fullbacks don't leave gaps and issues when playing deep block (or any system really). How did that other system work out for us last season? Liverpool's system puts huge demands on players, and the last 2 seasons master Klopp has been well outside the top 2, and they have spent big on players. Its not bullshit, its just not the one you prefer. I sat in H1 a few weeks ago and with Ricardo play the role brilliantly against a Norwich who were top of the form table, and most on here tipped to take points off us. When done well, it works a charm. Against deep block it does expose a gap, but all teams playing deep block find they expose gaps.
  11. Where is the evidence he wishes to stay?
  12. We really have entered silly season.
  13. From what i can see: 'Safe pair of hands that will just keep us up. Apparently. Just ignore how crap West Ham have been in the league the last 2 years' but he won the euro league that Brendan didn't know existed. - Moyes 'Did alright at a shit club, even if he looks like he lives mid sneeze and plays awful football.' - Cooper 'Has an identity, but only ever managed shit clubs. But to make things seem better we can mention Bielsa lots.' - Corberan 'Hate him. Scumbag. Boring football. But would be great banter with Vardy'. - Mourinho 'They played the best football ever, and scored tonnes of goals, and it's the best possession football there ever was (err - was it now???) - Potter 'It's going to be him because he's as Leuven' - García
  14. Aren't the ones going the ones he brought with him anyway? This is part of the deal these days as they have their own teams. I'm more annoyed that we didn't stick our necks out and retain our own staff when we brought him in. Think most of us wanted rid of Stowel and Sadler, but it would have been better if we said that we must have some of our own coaches in the mix and replaced them, especially as Enzo was a complete unknown risk. Losing Knudsen (set piece coach) was a real kick in the teeth because it took so long to get him, he was highly regarded, Enzo didn't have a set piece coach, we were terrible at set pieces, and it's just reported that Enzo was looking to appoint one!
  15. Why 'obviously'?
  16. Thing is, more often than not Brighton didn't. Towards the end of his time they hammered us (who didn't at that time) and they had some good results around that time, but for long periods they played pretty boring stuff and struggled to score. Many Brighton fans don't have fond memories of Potter. My take is with managers, is things always look greener elsewhere and more often that not (given a bit of time) every fanbase whines about the same thing. Look at Farke this year - when we hit our barren spell people were creaming themselves over how Farke did great subs, had a Plan B and could change a game during a match. Then they hit their bad spell, and Leeds fans have the same complaints of him as we did Enzo. Very few managers command respect across clubs. Who ever we get is going to have plus points and issues. And when we lose 6 on the trot in the middle of winter, we will likely be whining about the same thing (poor use of subs, no plan c, just plays his favourites).
  17. Oh dear. Never mind.
  18. Because Wymsey said so.
  19. @Miquel The Work Geordie is back?
  20. I'll do it for less money for Cooper, and i don't like like I stalk the local primary school.
  21. Its like he was about to cum during some dirty sex 20 years ago, and it never happened, and he's still waiting for the moment.
  22. Can you tell me how his teams play, how he sets up? He was completely incapable of pulling a large squad of players together in the PL and making any sort of success. His teams always seemed to play in some sort of emergency low block mode against everyone. Sometimes i wonder if people actually watch football matches?
  23. Lets hope its the amount of salt to initiate a cardiac arrest. Feking aweful appointement.
  24. Chelsea release initial information really early to socials, so we've been hearing about this longer than its actually been going on. It was like this with the Fofana deal. Reality is that it's only the end of May and they are all out in Marbella dealing with the fine details. Its happening, there are negotiations about severance and likely no mission critical time scales to sort them. I imagine it drifts into next week.
