  1. I cant see Doyle being here next season either. Unless Man City are happy to Loan again, but im not sure how they would feel about a 2nd season loan for a Prem team. Can't imagine they are looking to sell him for peanuts, as this is the club that got Burnley to pay 18m for Trafford.
  2. Yes, although memory is a funny thing and has a habit of filtering out the boring bits. Saying that, I don't ever remember looking back at much big Sam ever did with much fondness. I presume this thread will go round and round in circles until there is some sort of club announcement on the future (or maybe they do nothing if Enzo is happy). Until we have made signings and we see how we setup in the Prem after a few games (excluding top 8 opposition), everyone is making it up.
  3. Apparently that doesn't matter. Also, look at our defensive stats before Enzo responded to the fans criticism and started playing a higher line - these were better than where we ended up. The reality is, that no matter what, it's going to be different because teams are not going to low block us and gift us 70% possession, so this point about 'passing it around until the opposition nicks it' is very unlikely to happen. Or it might, but not with us in a high line position like against Blackburn where Vesty was half way in the Blackburn half. I don't know, because i've not seen us setup frequently in the Prem yet. Nobody knows - surely. Maybe we beat Liverpool 1-0 with them playing a low block and get 75% possession, and we all come on here complaining how boring life is. Well some people clearly do know. Yup - lets aspire for Allardyce.
  4. I think the same information is being regurgitated now. Hopefully the last 'article' has been written about by Guillaume and they get on sorting out issues and planning ahead. There is a lot to sort. I agree with you about him being in a hiding to nothing. I still think there are a large % of fans who think without points deductions we should slot straight back into top 8. Bottom 3rd clubs lose a lot of games in the Prem (just look at the form guides) and we have just become accustomed to winning a large % of games. Lose 3 on the bounce, everyone will be sharpening their claws demanding the next Sean Dyche.
  5. I don't understand what is to be 'negotiated'? We have to go through a process where we get to make our case and hope the independent panel take on board out points. Unless i have missed something?
  6. Vesty didn’t start a league game in our relegation season.
  7. Tell me. How many starts did Vestergaard have last season.
  8. Then use the Bournemouth one, of the Southampton games, or the Norwich games. Just do yourself a favour and dont use the Plymouth game.
  9. The last thing my boy is getting now is another new kit. Will consider it preseason and only if hes not being such a knob to me.
  10. Chelsea have battered a few teams this season. We actually competed alright that game. We performed well against Bournemouth. I think there is hope there, but its all going to be about survival.
  11. All season i have presumed next year was just about survival. I'm not sure why anyone would think we had the squad to be pushing for top 8.
  12. Why does the kit have to be released now? Current PL season still has 2 weeks left.
  13. So far it has felt that the points have been engineered to be enough to just not get relegated. In both Forest and Evertons case, i imagine they were all shitting themselves when both hit really bad form. I can't see luton getting enough to send Forest down now, and i cant see Burnley winning 2 on the trot. So it begs the question do they try and do the same next season? They will be hoping that we even shit the bed from the start so a 3 points makes no difference anyway, or we do what Everton did and have a great start and hit us with 6.
  14. 3 of those spots included 3 relegated squads with lots of PL talent. Norwich and West Brom were better sides. Ipswich were freaks. Think its a terrible decision based on the fact the relegated sides next season aren't going to be as strong.
  15. I too clicked on the BBC article but try and avoid all his social stuff. He really annoys me. Got on my wick that he went to the Preston game when i couldn't get tickets.
  16. Pretty sure the name 'Man City' will be allowed no mention at all in our case.
  17. More Thai celebs please!
  18. Seems like Championship managers get sacked and rotate all the time. Any of them will take it and happily get sacked in 12 months and move on to the next one.
  19. Bloody hell, that seems tone deaf as they were right in it right up to the last day. I presume they must have maxed out budgets in that Jan window and failure wasnt an option.
  20. Tells you all you need to know. You have to weaken your team to comply, regardless if you think you might be able to get better offers at a later date or move on different players at later dates. It also doesn't take the player into consideration. Brendan Johnson arguably hasn't had as good a season at Spurs, and as a player may have benefited from another season at Forest where he was performing and settled. We know he didn't want to move to Brentford. Its all utter bollox.
  21. We've had 2 players public state that they wanted to leave but had their offers blocked (Iversen and Praet). They clearly aren't going to take into consideration the fact we weren't offered what we thought was fair value. Only other mitigation available is that but not buying the summer we were relegated we put ourselves in danger, but then buying in the Jan window surely removes that mitigation too. I really dont think this is going to go well.
  22. They paid 17mil for Trafford and Ramsey each, both who had only played youth football before and 19 mil on Amdouni who has scored 5. We got Hermansen for about 6 mil. Hopefully we find better value than Burnley did.
  23. Stop engaging with anything he produces. Don't read his articles and dont engage with him on twitter. If his stuff going 0 engagement, he would disappear.
  24. Some banging tunes to replace 'Straight back up' and 'Enzo went to Europe'. Would like to see the support we got from the fans in the final few games. Was brilliant at times. Anything else a bonus. Enzo or not, we are going to be on the end of some hammerings, especially when you look at how good teams like Palace have become. Taking points deductions into consideration, anything 17th or above should be considered a massive success
  25. I was there with my 12 year old (we were at the Blackburn game too). We had a fun day out - lots of messing around, dancing and laughing. All the talk was about the players and the staff we knew. We haven't even talked about busses 3 onwards. I'm not saying i agree with the influencers / hangers on (i've discussed previously i've been to work events full of them and it pi55es me off, its part of modern corporate advertising), but for us at least it had zero impact on the day.
