Be nice if some people could learn the words before the shouty bit at the end

You’re welcome!

Pretty much Gerald's story from The Full Monty. Maybe Top, Rudders and Susan can do a charity striptease event.....

Yes, and i would expect he doesn't have a striker he considers his strongest. It teams sit deep he's probably less inclined to want to start Vardy and would sooner use younger legs to drag defenders around and use Vardy as an impact sub. Good point about this lineup not starting since October though. Monday we looked the best we have for months.

If only the top clubs could enter a new european league. That would be 'super', wouldn't it? (see what i did there!)

Well remember, we had the transfer window with the highest net spend ever. Fall out of wages from that is coming.....

Ranting doesnt make anything clearer. We signed Coady a few weeks after Enzo arrived. I don't think its hard to imagine that under the clubs advice, it was probably agreed that an alternative to Vestergaard was needed following all the issues previous management had with the player. During pre season Coady got injured, Vesty stepped up and proved he was the better player. Vestergaard has had the nod ever since. Thats not to say that when Vestergaards contract is up and he goes on a free xfer to Man City (joking!) that Coady then doesn't step up himself.

For me, the remaining 7 games are key to who should actually get this, and Enzo should be in the running. Rosenior should have done better on more recent games, and one of Farke, Enzo or Mckenna is going to bottle it.
-
Just replied the same. Coady could well come into his own next season and form a good partnership with Ben Nelson along the way.

Oh behave! I just dont think this one is particularly difficult. Have you seen how slow Doyle is?! He excels in games where teams sit back, and against Norwich he was superb. But even after we scored to go 2-1 Norwich targeted his side and you could even see his stuggling for pace a little bit. I think he will start against Brum, because what he offers in transition is brilliant compared to JJ. But if we are facing a team with fast wing threats, its likely going to be JJ starting. Seriously, after being ostracised by Rodgers, being made to train on his own, then getting injured in an under 23s match the Dean Smith was watching where the U23;s got hammered, did you ever think that Vestergaard would end up being one of the players of the season? I don't blame the club for recruiting Coady, but he is kept out by the better player. The thing for Coady, is that better player likely wont be here next year, and we are a club who probably wont be able to buy anyone.
-
Nothing really beggars belief. You can see with your own eyes how slow Doyle is, so JJ gets the nod if the oppo has pacy attacks. Coady isn't playing because Vestergaard is a better player. Coady and Vestergaard are seen as the player in the same position really, and to counter act them both being slow one of the faster options is picked to cover. I think the club genuinely had no idea how Vesty was going to turn out this year. Did you?

My Dad used to give me £1 for each goal i scored - so we can start there. Scored a hatrick in the game of my life when i was 13 and got £3. Bought an ice cream on the way home. #makeitreal

Don't see the point. Might as well do nothing. The purpose of imposing points deductions was to stop owners eating their clubs up racking up silly depts and them buggering off leaving them in the lurch. Yes - i know about strengthening the big 6 but the intention is there for clubs to somewhat live within their means, which the big ones can do better than others. The tax tries to solve the issue by raking up more debt, but pretending that debt is put to some good use. But a charlatan owner who goes 50 mill over the threshold is going to have no issues paying a 5 million tax, because he will just find a way of folding that debt into the club through the normal means. Just do nothing. Football will eat itself up regardless.
-
Interestingly all points deductions so far have been manufactured to not impact relegation. Wonder if we will end up getting something paltry like 2 points.
-
They avoid punishment no matter what. Apparently its too complicated so we let them carry on regardless.
-
Go over - pay a 'fine' that then gets distributed to clubs that don't go over. Like all these things, devil in the detail. Also won't help us for 2022/23.

@Collymore - what this bloke says. Much better explaining this stuff than me!

We should release Souttar on a free? On of the PSR/FFP issues is how the P/L of transfer deals are handled. If you dump Souttar for free the whole amortised lump of his fee will show as a loss. Its better to keep, try and loan or work out a role for him. Like Vestegaard, you don't always know how things will pan out. Players not quite working out happens at every club. But you would hope we would be able to deal with it better than we have done.

I have a wonderful memory of the coconut water. I can't remember the game. I think it was either Bournemouth or Villa when we had Stowell and Sadler in charge. I actually didn't pick up a coconut but i got the train back to Market Harborough and the train was packed - not just with football fans. As we got into Harbs station, someone previously standing went to a seat where 4 fans just left the coconut thing still in its packaging. Person had clearly had a drink or 2. Sat down, picked up the coconut and said 'what the f4ck is that!?' and then threw it in the bin. It summed up both the gift and the clubs situation in one simple question.
-
And that is says he is on 150k a week

Anything but the coconut stuff. Wouldn’t mind the shortbread again.

What would it take to turn on the owners?

Which makes him part of the problem. Why should we accept throwing money at bad things. -

Very surprised how little fallout there has been from this. Even the article on the BBC site quote dthe single year losses and made them sound largely in line with what other PL clubs were posting. I suppose they will leave their reporting for the response the either the EPL or EFL come up with.
