Burnley did it yesterday - and lost.
-
It wasn't played backwards. It was played short sideways from Faes and when Faes played it in a way that defences and keepers do countless times a game. This wasn't any 'philosophy' in action. It was a mistake from Mads who didn't clock the danger correctly. Mads had plenty of time and Stansfied was in his line of site. He messed up. But great mentality all around from Mads and the defence, as they didn't let this get to them at all.

What did he do?

This thread. Cooper. Potter. Give me Enzo. We are right back in it and the players are right behind him.

Had two different situations in there today. The one at half time the guy was conscious and taken to an ambulance. Fingers crossed all ok.
-
During a break of play in the 2nd half, he turned to us in H1 and gestured with his fingers for a little more support. The guy is a dude. Absolutely love him.

Well, we will have to sell players for sure. But this 17 mil will be amortised across probably a 5 year contract and there is an obligation if promoted anyway. Go up, im pretty confident we get this bloke no matter what.

Best i have been to at home for a long time. Singing section really loud and lots of people in H1 joining in. WYS was great. More of the same please everyone!

Solid wee. 6 out of 10. -
Just got back. Exhausted. Maybe skewed by the result but i thought it was a good game to watch. Atmosphere was brilliant today and thumbs up to the singing section who were loud for a lot of that. Me and my boy have no voice right now. Thumbs up to the kop end as well for being class to Mads after the Brum goal. Personally think the lads gave everything in that 2nd half. Brum offered next to nothing. Absolute madness at the end. I actually can't remember the 2nd goal and then lady behind me fainted - luckily we got the staff to her quickly. Usual nonsense about us being 'lucky'? We've been asking the players to play with passion and to give it everything and they have done that the last 2 games. When we do that there are whines about they running around too much? A number of posters have Enzo's card marked, but right now we are doing what we need in the run in. Ipswich looked turd earlier today, and will muster up the courage to watch Leeds a little later. Special mention to the ref who was the worst i have seen since the last rubbish one taking a game.

Luckily our fans at the game showed more class that this post.

Beer and biscuits at the ground. Best owners ever. Shame Chang tastes like shite.

Must have missed the last game were Leeds were gash and a brain fart from Hull let them in and Ipswich got a last minute slip/toe punt when they were gifted 8 minutes of added on time against a Brussel team who decided to stop playing. All 3 teams are going to find the run in tense. Its not just us.

'Contrasting' Off to the KP. See you on the other side.......

Ipswich players caught the luck virus (for you Red Dwarf fans out there).

If we have Ndidi, KDH and Winks with Riccy inverting, we don't need Nacho dropping deep. We will need someone who will stretch the central defence, press, chase down their keeper and be the outlet to get the ball out to the wingers. Daka took a few pelters in the last match but he largely did everything needed.
-
I presume Brum will park the bus today. I don't think a new manager is going to come here and be aggressive today. Park the bus and try to counter and hope a bit of pace put Doyle (if playing) and Vesty under pressure. Would be starting Daka if thats the case and bringing in Vard around 70th minute. Daka chases / presses and stretches. Nacho doesn't and when teams park the bus he has a habit of drifting too deep.

What would it take to turn on the owners?
Chelmofox replied to MattFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Depends really. If owners lend money directly they will come up with their own process where payments are made back to the owning company include interest. This usually happens if you want some sort of investment from your parent company to inject capital to grow when everyone expects that money can be repaid. Involves having to get all the right processes / paper work in place. In KP/LCFC case, its crazy amounts of money needed just to keep the club running. Seems to me that KP are happy to make the repayments / interest in those loans but not put up the capital - just provide the security for the loans to be made. Says to me the KP probably don't think that the full loan amount would be repaid anytime soon so would rather somewhere else put up the funds. -
I've not met anyone that thinks it makes the game fairer.

They haven't breached FFP / PSR.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

This is what gets me. The money and the ambition has been there. We've just had the wrong people steering the ship. When you think of the players we could have signed -
I shall scowl when i use my clapper.

On this forum, the best striker is usually the one that didn't start the last game. Look at the pelters Vardy took after the Bristol game, only to become our best striker one game later.

Thats football though isn't it? I don't look at any top flights operations and think any are doing this to operate as a sustainable business or with any ambition to break even. With club owners, i think the biggest focus is on success and increasing the value of their asset with one eye on a big acquisition. Although you do wonder where we go from Middle Eastern ownership? KP group undoubtedly used LCFC to gain exposure of their brand in europe, with one eye on a big sale one day. Obviously been a big setback in both.
