  1. Akgun and KDH. Ndidi not fit to start. Midfield is shocking at the moment.
  2. I don’t think Doyle should have been playing to be fair. Coady is annoying, and a bit predictable, and I don’t want to see any arm flapping from Faes today.
  3. I've also come to the conclusion that although its only the result that matters, and just win at all costs, not putting in a good solid performance it possibly the worst thing the team could do today.
  4. Tell you what's the worst - someone coming on moaning about the moaners who are moaning about the moaners. But the in match thread does tell me there are people who want it to be awful and want us to lose. But come on, there is a difference between saying 'i think we are in the sort of poor form that means we are going to lose more ground to Leeds / Ipswich' and saying 'lose today and we are DOOMED and it's ALL OVER!'. Losing today would be horrible, but it wouldn't all be over, but we would have made the task significantly more difficult with no more margin for error. I said before the Sunderland game we are likely in the process of bottling it - but this can be turned around. This division doesn't always go the way you expect it to.
  5. But it's always the media who dish out the line 'cash to spend'. The reality is that there are 'funds available' and a sliding scale as to the long term 'cost' of those funds. Most fans don't want to hear that though, they just want to know you can spend money on players.
  6. Birmingham have done well at home, and its been our problem this season. On the flip side Leeds have lost the same number away games as Watford. If you look hard enough you can find a stat for everything.
  7. We have lost 3 away all season and have a goal difference of + 19. Let's do this today!
  8. I think he will go for this but Hamza instead of JJ.
  9. The line 'money to spend' is always murky. Remember being part of the due diligence process of a business where the proposed acquirer said they had money to invest in scaling / growth etc, but when you delve into the idea it always comes at a cost (in their case it was loans that were at pretty nasty rates). You would think for any the holdco business the last resort is always to just hand over significant sums of cash. It usually just means they have the equity to be able provide it / offset / guarantee it somehow.
  10. Firstly, i agree that you have to give both clubs respect, especially Ipswich. But it's also got to be a pain for them to go on these runs and still see us sat at the top. Lets not pretend it's completely plain sailing for them either. Earlier this year Ipswich went on a horrible run (which if they navigated better would be nicely clear at the top) and are currently having to score 3 a game to win matches. Those own goals and deflections cant keep happening can they?. Today will be interesting. Leeds were held to a draw against 10 man Huddersfield - the sort of result that would our doom mongers salivating. So they both will drop points - it's inevitable. fwiw, i think Leeds will win the league and i don't really care. I think we will come 2nd and Ipswich will be 3rd. But still a lot of games and an international break to come, so what do i know.
  11. A lot depends on how Hull setup and if they setup to stifle the wing. If they do, then it will be interesting to see if Ndidi starts and if he does if he is in any sort of form. If he does play and is in form, then we could see a very different game from us where we can be a bit more dangerous through the middle if their plan is to double up on wingers. Ndidi was in the latest training videos - so im hopeful, although he won't play for 90 minutes.
  12. Oh my mistake - everyone saying 'lose and it's all over' want us to win? That changes everything then. Their attitude is no different to a wife who says 'Next time he comes home drunk thats it - its over'. She want to fella to mess up.
  13. Right now it doesn’t matter. Just focus on today and then next week we will have a game in hand for a while.
  14. What’s that got to do with anything? I was right last season quite early on. There are people who want this to mess up, who want the next result to be the defining loss.
  15. Because people want it that way. Bed wetters on here want it all to fall apart because that’s the way they like it. Not win today and we make it even harder. Regardless, after today the next league match is not till the 29th March so there is good opportunity to reset and focus on the final stretch regardless of todays result.
  16. Don’t be a dick. His shit smells of Tiramisu.
  17. All because they scored a goal?
  18. All because they scored a goal?
  19. A Nigerian prince contacted Rudkin and said if he left his family £5k in cash this morning then this could unlock his business account and thus he would transfer £10 million into our 22/23 accounts.
  20. I've been on business in Brighton today, being reminded by my contact what an amazing well run club he supports. In the meantime, my wife noticed this in the garden: Even nature is mocking me.
  21. They originally said a month, so could be back for Bristol?
  22. Yes - this sucks for him and it's an area he is going to have very little experience with.
  23. Weds are 3rd in the form table (we are 13th, Southampton 12th). If they can scrape a win they jump up the table significantly. Its a big game tonight.
  24. At least you won't get an ACL.
