He's definitely struggling. Passes are largely awful. Remember a promising move in the 1st half and massively overhit a straightforward pass to Mavididi. Seems to take 3 touches to get himself into the right body shape. I really miss that hungry pressing machine. Arse end of a long season. He's probably playing with a few niggles, putting himself under a load of pressure and desperately trying not to get injured.

The Bournemouth game says hi! I actually feel we will be better in the PL (minus the top 8 of course). We are at our worse when teams do nothing. -

That was 'orrible from 15 mins to finish. Special mentions: Possibly the worst referee since since the last match i saw, who gave every small niggle a foul and then bottled a penalty decision right at the end. KDH having another stinker. Him trying to run the clock down towards the end and just handing the ball back to them nowhere near the corner was just weird. Hermansen spent the week at Iversens kicking school. Where has the magic gone? Hermansen getting booked for time wasting at 68 mins. I mean, wtf! Hamza being barely able to run for 15 mins yet still not getting subbed. Can't wait to hear he now has a muscle injury. Plus points were Coady, seeing Ndidi again and of course the win. Can thank the monks for the 3 points, and hope to never see a performance like that again. I am concerned, and we really need that international break. I think they are feeling the nerves. They don't look happy - too much arm flapping and im not convinced they are doing what Enzo wants them to do. The amount of times you can see him pointing forward when they go back. Definitely playing with fear.- 474 replies

Ha. But they are not lucky.

Big game for KDH tonight, and a lot depends on who he has next to him. If he want to be recognised as one of the best in the division he needs to step it up. -
We have lost the last 3. Time to put that to bed and get back on track.

ffs! Would love to go to an away game but this happens everytime it goes to members for me. Bet when i watch it on tv there are gaps all over the away stand.

He was very good against Leeds, and arguably bringing him off created more problems as we lost his tracking back. He is poorer when teams park the bus, but i dont think Sunderland will do that. We should start him and go for Albrighton if Sunderland are defending for their lives and we cant break them down. -
Southgate being Southgate will obviously pick Henderson and Maguire. Joking aside this is really a great chance to win it.

Just poorly formatted. Hamza inverted, Nacho as the 10. Mads Hamza Coady Faes Doyle Winks KHD Nacho Mavididi Fatawu Vardy Edit - give that 50 mins and if Nacho is still pony, replace him with Akgun and put Sharky on the right wing and tell him just to aim for Vardy's head for 40 minutes. -

Same reason why people keep posting about Sensi having surgery. -

Im not buying Yunus and Albrighton together. I don't think the solution is Sharky (or at least starting him) and Yunus and KDH together has been horrible. Mavadidi is still the right choice to start, but if they park the bus well then i think you bring on Sharky. JJ can't play again. Its got to be: Mads Hamza Coady Faes Doyle Winks Mavadidi KHD Nacho Fatawu Vardy Make it happen Enzo. That team wins 0-3! -

I think Enzo is a stickler for using systems developed in training. Based on what we historically know about Kel i think he can do that role but his pressing will be lousy (against Sunderland - is that going to be an issue?), but unless he's been doing drills of it in training, don't expect to see it. Interesting selection tonight. I have a lot of time for Akgun but he and KDH are not working together. If he starts those together then i think they have 45 mins only to gel. I hope plan B isn't to use Cannon again in the 10 role, and would much sooner see Kels there and have Cannon up top. But as you say, you would assume availability is going to play a big part in the selection. -
Presumably Sensi has had the surgery now to get it out of the way as there is no way he is playing for Inter for the rest of the season?
-
I presume the business plan involves Champions League qualification?
-
Daka, Faes and Winks would would likely go as well. I doubt we would keep Vardy on another year. Would be threadbare, and we would start to look like any other established Championship club. Probably go for Mowbray is manager when he is fully recovered.
