Stolarczyk Nelson Coady Vestergaard Doyle Choudhury Yunus Nacho (ok it will be Praet) Albrighton Cannon Fatawu thats all right actually.

Injured for a month.
-
I was hoping to avoid it
-
Yes i know, but we have an extra midweek game on the 5th that they don't have. They don't really need to be resting at this stage.
-
Yeah, but they don't need to rest tomorrow because they are facing Sheffield Utd on the 9th March. For us, its much more pressing to rest players.
-
Surely that hugely depends on the team we put out! And i expect it to be like the one sent out against Birmingham.
-
They are on 28 points though with Luton on 20 and the blue scum on 21. Never say never, and they will have to pick up points at some stage, but if i was them i would be miffed if they didn't go almost full strength for this. Didn't realise i was so long since they had won though, but i expect us to make a lot of changes and write this off and for them to go for it.

Brendan Making The Headlines It Seems
Chelmofox replied to ElusiveEd's topic in General Football and Sport
If we ever needed more proof he was going to go and manage in the Saudi league. -
The football media darling is now top of fold news on the Daily Mail website. Someone wants him sacked from Celtic, and are willing to do it the dirty way.

Vardy is one of the best strikers to ever grace top flight football. But he's not even our best striker now and over the last 2 years has not converted high quality chances. He's great to have around, but I would be foolish putting my money on him converting that, especially the amount of ground Daka made up. There is no defending Daka's shot, i shouldn't need to. But it shouldn't be all that defines him following coming back into the team. And he did score a perfectly good goal in the leeds game
-
This has been covered. Vardy has credit in the bank so it doesn't count. Just don't. Recently won player of the month and has decent stats since coming into the side. Overall game has improved massively, and improved us too, but is missing some premium chances. He is still a work in progress since coming back, and can continue to get better. But no, he's a donkey and doesn't deserve to wear the shirt again.

We all know that the Vesty redemption messed that all up. If Coady hadn't got injured, the Vesty redemption may have never happened and we would likely have been able to ship him off somewhere. That is hindsight i think no one predicted.

Can you now take me out for a pint to calm me down.

I too saw the Saints game and drew 0 parallels to how we are playing. They looked awful. We don't.
-
Would have thought the Leicester thing to do would be to beat these and lose to Maidstone at home in the next round.
-
Yup - but we are pushing for the top spot. This was all in response to the potential of Enzo 'complaining' that he wasn't given reinforcements. I don't think he will because i think he has been very pragmatic all season. But the reality is that our bench doesn't quite have the depth that the hype suggests.

From the TV interview or another source?

We don't know the details on the financials behind any of them really. We also don't know if the club overstretched first half of the season and needed to have more than 1 loan outgoing to cover. We don't know if Sensi was hoped to be that 1 loan that could come in before the deal slightly changed, and we don't know if there was nervousness that another of Victor or Bouba could be sent back and the club (with FFP in mind) just played it a little safe. What we do know is that there wasn't resources so really 'strengthen' in many of the key areas that matter to the squads system (wingers and midfield). Right now there seems to be: Unwillingness to use Akgun, rightly or wrongly, probably due to not wanting to commit to his future at this stage. This is therefore a loan deal causing an issue right now rather than benefiting the team, which is a shame because i have a lot of time for Akgun. Nothing to cover both Riccy P and Winks at the same time. Hamza can play either but if he is utilised at all it means no cover for the other player. Winks has barely been rested in a very busy season, and i think is starting to show it a little towards the end of games. Poor cover for wingers. Enzo uses Kasey but he'd not performed since coming back from Injury, and i personally don't think Sharky is someone who is hugely viable anymore in these big games. Unwillingness to use Coady and Souttar. I presume we see Coady for the next few games, but it wouldn't surprise me if Enzo opts for Nelson instead against QPR. Souttar remains on the naughty step. Vesty and Faes are starting to look knackered towards the end of games and it really showed in the last 10 against Leeds. No 'alternative' to KDH when he is not performing (was outstanding against Leeds mind you) Ndidi out and Cassadei gone, means we either apologetically play Praet (who is weak but tidy), or move Riccy forward. We don't have a recognised 1st choice here. So all things considered, both through playing ability and a bit of club politics, there aren't recognised game changers to come on.
-
Haha! Just what i was thinking. No chance he is signing a new deal, so just patch him up and get him on.
-
Surely it makes no difference if it was loans or salaried players - we had to get people out before we could bring anyone in. On the subs front, as much as i love him and his experience, i am not buying and Sharky is someone that makes a difference seeing the Leeds game out. I'm not sure Akgun has the physicality to help either and Praet is lightweight. We miss a batch of experienced but solid football 24-28 year old players. I do think Vesty looked spent after an brilliant first 70 mins game, and don't understand why we didn't use Coady ( or even have haver Souttar available who has helped see out games). But we are really missing solid reinforcements for the 2 winger, Winks and Ndidi.

Luke Thomas to Middlesbrough until the end of the season
Chelmofox replied to DZ-LCFC's topic in Leicester City Forum
Love a social post from some random bloke as proof that he's already failed at another club, especially when one of the replies is from someone saying he played well in a previous match. Sounds like Middlesborough were generally sh1te yesterday, which as we've seen here following Leeds, send lots of people on anger driven frenzies. Some of the shite our 'fans' post on the social is ridiculous too. 12 games left. Maybe leave him alone to get on with the loan rather than laugh after every 'poor' game. -
I don't think he will do this season. I keep saying it, but he's been very pragmatic about how hard this division is and the demands of the number of games etc. He's never come across as cocky and has always tried to keep everything grounded. I think he will keep it like this for the rest of the season. However, internally, not being able to get reinforcements for Ndidi and Cassadei, and the club not being able to dispose of the dead wood will clearly have annoyed him. If we go up, i think next year we see a different version of Enzo. One that will make more demands of the board and will be less pragmatic with the players and the overall club. He will have to be, because being too nice in the PL isn't going to cut it.

An assist and a perfectly fine disallowed goal. And also an awful miss.
