  1. A knock perhaps?
  2. Haven't you been on the Rudkin thread? We're doomed.
  3. Could you tell me how to set an alert on a players name
  4. Great headed clearance by Daka
  5. Broadly completely agree. Particularly on ticket prices. I've said before that I don't have an issue with footballers earning very good money, it's one of the few jobs where the person at the coal face is actually able to properly monetise and claim a fair share of commercial revenues from the company that employs them. But the current situation is beyond ridiculous and it's unsustainable. My concern, though, is that FFP will end up reinforcing and exacerbating the power of the few super clubs who hoover up the vast majority of revenue via large international fan bases, TV rev etc. They are going to be able to outspend all other clubs with ease and there's no chance of anyone crashing the party. FFP also inhibits investment in clubs outside the traditional elite. Sometimes companies do have to make losses, particularly when growing or establishing themselves. There are no easy answers.
  6. The market is now tiny as well. Vast majority of European clubs aren't even close to being able to afford the wages paid by prem clubs. So you're stuck trying to offload surplus players to the same few clubs in the same league, even if a player possibly suits a style of play abroad. That said we do seem to be particularly bad at moving players on.
  7. As long as he doesn't require sensial healing after visiting seagrave... Hahaha hahahaha Hahahaha Ha Oh.
  8. Know this. I'm ITK about who is ITK but I'm unable at this stage to reveal either sources or, in fact, any concrete or verifiable information. Don't hate me because I like to keep my sh1t cryptic, I was born this way.
  9. I'm just not convinced, taking nothing away from him this season. Even last night against a pretty woeful Burnley, Man City were bailed out the back a couple of times by the recovery pace of Aké. We do need more pace in the back line in my opinion. Faes isn't particularly quick either.
  10. An optimist, rare as rocking horse shit around here - I like it!
  11. I'm glad it's not just me. I thought I'd seen some histrionics in this gaff but Christ on a bike today has been quite astonishing.
  12. Terrible decision
  13. Now you are simply trolling!
  14. A bit like HMS sunk before she sails or whatever you claimed so stridently before yesterday's game?
  15. Or was Enzo chatting shit but not getting banged?
  16. Superb summary mate. On Cannon, what I love is he's always looking to make a little bit of space and shoot early. And he shoots with real venom. Looking forward to seeing him bag plenty more for us.
  17. Think we've done okay this season. Winks. Ricardo. Justin. They all come to mind. And other key players have played a lot of minutes. Rotationally I think Winks/Sensi makes... can work. Plus Sensi can play a number of different roles which is good for rotation as well.
  18. To be honest I think you've already proved fairly conclusively we aren't very good at moving players on, some comparative post against other clubs you did a while ago. We're shite at it. That said think Sensi is a bit of an odd one, Enzo's clearly got a chub on for him and there's that Italian connection without which I just don't see Sensi coming here. I'm probably being overly optimistic but if this comes off, if he can stay fit, it'll be an absolute steal.
  19. Be careful his mam will punch your fvcking block off if she's anything like Phil's.
  20. I don't agree, but you're as likely to be as right as I am. One thing I will say is he's only 23 and we'll pay a hell of a lot less for him than we did for Perez. If we get any sort of tune out of him we should be able to at the very least recoup some of the transfer fee as well.
  21. Yeah think that's a fair observation mate. We all live in a world of immediate gratification and Yunus is a prime example of a player who may have been with us a while but, really, we've barely seen him beyond fits and starts. Think he'd do better alongside Wilf or KDH who have that physicality and engine.
  22. Gave that some welly today didn't he and a decent showing all round second half. Still think he's got a lot of potential but feels like he may not get to show it here. Hope I'm wrong.
