Sorry but the fans have an absolute shocker today. Had to suffer the pain of once again sitting in the family stand. Could barely hear anything all game, fair play to Everton who gave it a few times today but even they were quiet. For what was a relegation battle and a fortress could have been created, since kick off nobody was interested and that was even before a ball was kicked before anyone blames the weather.. Lets hope the next home game I can get to against forest will be rocking like it was a couple of years ago as we’re back in the section.. man i miss that on a match day, who’s idea is it to take kids at least when I’m in the section I can’t hear the l1 drummer..

Not sure I agree with the reading of the membership.. it isn’t difficult to get tickets at all and not sure why that’s a concern at the moment. Yes the membership has its faults (not much benefits other than you can get tickets) but to start suggesting ballots is utter bullsh*t imo

Like above, I would say average to poor. Considering this was the fixture that the weight had been lifted off the shoulders of the club I thought the place would be bouncing and especially being 2-0 up but it was average at best. Long periods of silence and then the gap would be filled with Jordan Ayew chant. Mavididi scored but no chant for him so went quiet not long after. Been in worse but not great by a long way.. (could be due to the fact that majority of the people especially 3/4 up to the back rows couldn’t see a thing) Of all the grounds I’ve been too that easily slots in my top 3 for never wanting to go back..

I do think the price of this has affected the amount of tickets sold. Understand Walsall want to make a quick quid, and although they are charging £20 for home fans too it’s pretty rank pricing. Had it been £10-£12 I think it would have gained better interest. like what’s going on with the extortionate pricing at villa, it’s simply becoming unaffordable for many families and if you had to sacrifice a type of game it would be this one..
