5 changes if Ndidi and Yunus are fit. Protect Justin, Give Coady a run and rest Fatawu who put in a monster shift last nigh (as did Mavididi to be fair). Casadei will be unlucky to misout as i thought his speed of thought and mobility was really coming on yesterday, broke into the area Lampardesque on at least 3 occasions to create chances for himself / others. Was interesting to see the Daka £5m if he plays again myth snuffed out last night and must mean he is closer to Enzo's thoughts. If we win this have we made the best start ever to a Second Tier campaign in history of the league (not just championship?). Hermansen Ricardo Vestergaard Coady Choudhury Winks Yunus Ndidi KDH Mavididi Vardy

if i'm QPR i let us get a hammering off leicester, then sack Ainsworth rather than lumbering a new manager with a 4-0 defeat to start their tenure.
-
This ref stinks
-
I thought the rule was if the offense carries on in to the box it's a pen.
-
Should be 4 or 5 - 1 at a canter.
-
Yeah I think Choudhury could be put on to **** Ekwah, Bellingham, Neil up a bit and let our players get on the ball.
-
Even with 6 out injured we've got centre back, full back, holding mid, wing and striker covered on the bench. Not bad.
-
No Ndidi in the squad. 2 goalies on the bench.
-
Haven't heard Yunus and Nacho are injured, but he may well choose to play them Saturday instead and go with others tonight. For me, QPR is the easier game though so we need to play our strongest suit tonight
-
is enzo at the wheel though? or is he in the car pit tinkering about with the suspension and the breaks
-
Don't want a 5-2 win. The wheels came off the entire club after that scoreline in 2000 I'll take a good old fashioned 5-0 Failing that a good old fashioned 1-0
-
Unfortunately for them, our defenders, midfielders AND strikers are scoring. Could easily slip up, but if Clarke sees none of the ball then we will smash them. And the likelihood is they will have about 30% of the ball.

6 for kel for the season now. I think he's on for 20 at least.

When do we think we will all agree we had a great 90min performance. Haven't heard it yet and we have won 11 out of 12!
-
Commentators are probably noting the mass exodus and the net minus 60mil spend I imagine?
-
That was the hit bit.

I think the fact we are trying to massage our way through the season. By playing vardy one week, iheanacho the next is meaning that's the least fluent part of our team. Also the fact we have moved from a no10 playmaker to two no8s and wingers makes our attacking play more hit and miss.

Coady plays well in a 3 so wouldn't be surprised if we played Faes and Coady wide either side of Vestergaard at some points. Man City have done it before and played players like Silva wide midfield as they're hard working. We could easily do the same with Mavididi, Akgun and Fatawu as they're pretty hard working defensively. Hermamsen Faes Vestergaard Coady Fatawu Winks Ndidi Mavididi KDH Akgun Vardy

He's dones well. How we ended up with Amartey and a variety of other tosspots defending our goal last season when we had Soyuncu and Vestergaard sat on their cocks all season is the kind of issue only Rodgers could create. What a truly heinous **** up he concocted for us last season. Cutting off his nose to spite his face after the budget got cut. Thanks Brendan

And me!

Totally agree. Hamza looked decent for a short period at left back against Preston on Wednesday. There was a period where him, Coady, Winks and Fatawu were knocking it around brilliantly and then we broke away and nearly scored. Wouldn't mind: Hermansen Faes Coady Hamza Ricardo Winks It looked to me like Justin was on the brink of too much football v Preston. Give him a couple of weeks off and then he can hopefully settle in for another 10 games. For me, if your 2 centre backs play 3rd in the league and keep a clean sheet you shouldn't be changing that partnership for the next home game. Vestergaard has done well but Coady is £10m england international so shouldn't just be benched after a 3 nil win unless they are worried about his foot.

The real bonus to our season is when braybrooke, alves and doyle carry us over the line.
-
think he could definitely develop to be a very good prem player, and massively hope he does. I think part of it is him finding where on the pitch he can cause maximum impact and playing there. he used to be defensive which wasn't him, then was inside left and now plays properly central drifting just left (wilf was left of him yesterday for instance).

For me - KDH has got a great engine and can have flashes of brilliance either with a great through ball / cross field ball or a great finish, and that is enough for us to be super proud of him as a home grown talisman . However, i don't think we can seriously say his general play (first touch, decision making, defensive positioning) is that of a high quality premier league player. His engine gets him out of a lot of trouble and means he is in the game right til the end which is brilliant, but he's not a £40-50m player IMO. I hope he grows as the season progresses and gets nearer to that which will mean he can be our leader when we go up, but i've seen a lot of players who are at least his equal among the opposition players this season. Not intended to be a negative post as i'm a big fan. But hearing things like 'he just does not belong in this league' from opposition managers is more them trying to bump their players up for the next game than it is a statement of fact!
