is Vestergaard a better bet than Nelson/Okoli - probably not. Are Choudhury or Aluko a better bet than Ricardo / Thomas - physically yes, positionally and general play wise. Not really. Is Page better than D R Reid. On the ball probably but doesn't offer the goal threat. Do we have another striker or GOOD false nine alternative to Ayew without a signing. Not really. Cifuentes hasn't managed to make a great solution out of an imbalanced squad BUT we are not replete with properly strong alternatives to what he is putting out today. So it will depend on what form we show on the day. Id Nelson, Skipp, James, Reid and 1 of the wingers turns up then we wil compete. If they have an off day then we are ****ed.

he impacts the game more than monga currently. Nelson needs to toughen up over this season and next which is natural for his age at centre half. if we lose Monga we need to get some players and cash in return i think. hopefully theres a bidding war and we can get a couple of man city or chelsea youngsters. I think Louis Page looka better on the ball and more in sync with Mavididi, Monga etc when he comes on.

we are playing treble shite and im not going home games until.KP are gone. BUT i think if we had any striker worth the name we would still be in the top 6 currently. The gap is only 6 -9 pointa which we could easily have achieved even allowing for how shit we are in other facets of play. We literally have so little to play around up top that we struggle to achieve consistency or get respite for the rest of the team when they need it. Plus our wingers know not to cross the ball as very very seldom is there a striker making a run near post or into a danger area. Having a striker worth their salt is our biggest current problem as the lack of 1 is demoralising the team i think. of course we have problems in goal defence and midfiled but none as acute aa our total lack of a striker.

From Jan i think we will see 10 academy graduates regularly in the matchday 18. The below + Choudhury. If Fatawu goes, i expect us to bring in a striker (please god), another attacking midfielder and a left back. Hopefully with Ricardo, Decordova-Reid, Skipp, Ayew, Mavididi, Daka then having competition for places we will see an even better consistency of performance than we have seen to date, where our quality is at times clear to see, but our confidence and adaptability in games is wafer thin.... We are skint as **** with an impending points deduction and a manager who we would sack if we werent so skint. Again.. Our scouting team identified Julian Carranza as a hot prospect. We will be getting no one of any quality in Jan by that route. So lets hope we can get Braybrooke back and that someone chucks us two brilliant players for Monga. Sort of like a Gee and Ormondroyd for Paul Kitson arrangement.
