Nello. Is it me you're looking for?

are we thinking the players not in Genoa squad are the ones leaving?

No. because we will have no decent centre backs, no strikers, 1 terrible winger, no proven good full backs and a bunch of.kids....with a manager who can only play one way which got him ran out of scotland, replaced by a middling champ manager who nearly dragged Rangers into the title race.

We will finish between 7th and bottom....

team i'd go for + subs that could come on. The 22 shows that we are week down the spine of the team still, with lots of CB's to shift if we can bring in loans/fress for CB, CM, Striker McCarthy (Stola) Aluko (Coulibaly) Nelson (Okoli) Souttar (Faes) McFarlane (Thomas) Skipp (Choudhury) Braybrooke (Page) Alves (Carr) Chaplin (Hutchinson) Mavididi (BDR) Otchere (Cullen)

only time ive ever seen him play was centre mid for Sunderland. I stand corrected.

must mean skipp or choudhury on way out?

is this confirmed?

Would rather Thomas went for some cash, higher wage off books and kept coulibaly as back up to McFarlane. not sure i can deal with his 'i'm about to cry' face when he gets caught under a cross for a far post header. #ragebait

that's not very nice. are you a bit warm today, duck?

i think it's clear he's a striker from the fact he's played more games there than anywhere else. Martin knows him and, along with Bellamy, trusts that he is of above League One standard. I think beggars (ie people with less than no money) can't be choosers so in he comes. Martin's job is to keep a couple of motivated olders who we haven't sold, blend them with youth and loans/new signings and hope they develop some confidence early. If we started with McCarthy Aluko Nelson Souttar McFarlane Skipp Braybrooke Alves Chaplin Mavididi Adebayo with Page, Evans, Cullen, Otchere, HutchinsonChoudhury, Thomas etc on the bench we have a fighting chance of stabilising and not going down again.

Expecting 2 or 3 announced today/tomorrow/friday. Also - would expect to see 1 or 2 out sooner rather than later ie Souttar, Faes or Okoli. Not sure where Mavididi rumours of exit have come from unless someone offerrs £8m+ in the champo. Feels like Man City have done us a solid for selling them Monga. So, hopefuly that McFarlane is a strong left back and a good addition. We must be in the market for another centre back, and looks like Cullen / Adebayo might be in just for numbers and so we don't start the season with no striker. We MUST be hoping that we have multiple 10+ goalscorers across Mavididi, Chaplin, Alves, Page + a striker.

Looking at our squad we only have 10 players currently who arent academy products. 8 outfield players. McCarthy, Vieites, Coulibaly, Faes, Okoli, Souttar, Skipp, Chaplin, D-Reid, Mavididi At LEAST 4 of those are actively for sale to protect the clubs finances. So we will probably end the transfer window with only 4 fully contractrd players who arent from the academy. Any others youd imagine will be loans. Im note sure everyone understands how threadbare we are and how many hammerings we are going to take due to inexperience and lack of squad quality and cohesion. If you add to that we have the most 1 dimensional manager in history, who.is so PTSDd from the Rangers job id be surprised if he lasts 12 games....

My thinking is with inexperience on the wing, at full back and up front. Martin might well be tempted to go for older heads at centre back and centre mid. If we have a spine of Nelson, Braybrooke, Otchere then we will be very very fragile. As unpalatable as that may be.

Edited. But i doubt he starts over Choudhury and Skipp in current squad. Particularly given inexperience elsewhere.

Team for Notts County: Stolarzcyk Aluko Souttar Okoli Thomas Choudhury Skipp Alves Chaplin Mavididi Otchere Subs: McCarthy, Nelson, Page, Evans, Braybrooke Hutchinson, Joseph, Carr, Gray An eye opening loss likely

If we spend £0 pre season we will be in League Two this time next year and have to relaunch. A team of promising players who didn't show up as outliers on loan, in EFL Trophy or as aces in Prem 2/Reserves aren't going to tear up League One

Bobby Davison - badman.

with a squad of 18 - 22 year olds + skipp, choudhury, chaplin, mavididi and whichever centre back can't get the **** out of dodge i dont think people will look at us feeling they need to park tbe bus. I think they will all go for blood....

More likely to get Rod Stewart.

At this stage id swap our striker options for Harborough Town's, Britt Assombalonga and Riley O'Sullivan.

that £50m in for Monga, Elk and Fatawu basically prevents us going bust for 1 year. it doesnt enable us to sign players.

Based on last year no one should be rushing to sign Nelson. If im him i try and smash League One and then captain leicester in the champ rather than sit on someone elses bench.....

Will.Jayden Joseph get games this season do we think?
