None of us want relegation to happen but we've all had some great days watching us play outside the premier league. It's still football and still our club. We were disappointed to get knocked out of the Europa league but the Eindhoven trip was class even though it was a lesser competition. Sunshine in the square. Every cloud and all that. Don't think we'll go down anyway!

After a few years it's not unusual for a boss's voice to lose its impact. This can apply to any walk of life imo. A boss can move on or, gradually, get new staff who can be more receptive.

Yoh can see that he's desperate to do well. Forcing things maybe. However, the team doesn't supply the strikers very well at the moment. Get Kevin Phillips in to help him.

For me we are lacking in firepower right now. Yeah sure we have probs in defence etc but imo we just don't make opposition defences worry too much at the moment. Can JV turn the clock back? Can Daka improve? Rodgers doesn't rate Iheanacho.

Fofana might turn out to be a star but for me, Morgan and Huth way better. Proper uncompromising defenders. Huth was free right? Both had fantastic attitudes and wanted to be here. I miss them.

Fofana - quick, athletic. Tick Age. Tick Likes to go forward (is that a good thing?) Tick Gets out of position. Tick Backs to the wall, dogged brick wall. Unsure. Maguire liked to go wandering. Centre of defence is all about partnerships for me. Huth and Morgan. Outstanding and nowhere near 80million. Can't really understand 70 to 80 million for defenders. I guess Van Dijk got everyone excited about improving Liverpool. We have to sell Fofana and or YT in my opinion to have a refresh by BR (!)or someone else.

Does BR keep playing Youri to keep him in the shop window? Maybe he will score or put a defence splitting pass in or two,get sold and get BR the money to rebuild. Maybe why Perez had resurfaced. No sales no rebuild.

It is tough to watch us at times in my view. I'd just like to see a bit more goalmouth action. There's not enough chaos in the opposition's box. I get that two up top would probably mean we could be stretched in midfield but might that be countered by more excitement closer to goal? Maybe the trend for possession football has taken hold a bit too much. I think we can all see its merits but it can be mind numbing and it often allows the opposition to get in position. Anyone remember Paul Cooper throwing the ball out to the wings at Filbo and starting attacks? The element of surprise seems to be missing a bit in my opinion.

Should have played either Amartey or Vesty then for some height.

Maybe Rodgers calling out some of the players contributed to Barnes being (arguably) MoM against West Ham. Just a thought.
