  1. Where's Wout Weghorst at the moment?
  2. Fell out
  3. Fell out
  4. Get Martin Keown in as defensive coach.
  5. Team doesn't have the legs and energy required imo. It's OK blaming the defence (and they are full of mistakes granted) but there's not a lot in front of them to help. Ndidi and Soumare both slow. Problem is what else have we got in the cupboard? Maybe Hamza and McAteer? I think we need to pack the midfield for now as teams appear to be able to waltz through us at will. We need a clean sheet or two!
  6. I don't get why new managers often sit the first game out. Presumably RVN has started to be paid. Maybe not keen to start with an expected loss.
  7. Fair enough.
  8. I said guaranteed entertainment. Guaranteed being the key word. Sometimes football matches are entertaining, sometimes not. For example, not every match Liverpool or Spurs play is entertaining but they can be very entertaining to watch on their day. However, every musical is entertaining. That's what they are there for. A football match is there to be won first and foremost. If one looks at football in general terms than certainly it should entertain and over a season there will be an amount of entertaining games. Same as cricket, some matches are exciting and some are dull. Problem is entertainment is arguably not the main objective although the current England cricket team are trying toentertain and they have been told that results are not the be all and end all. I guess England cricket dont have the spectre of relegation haunting them so they are, to an extent, free to take a swashbuckling approach. If a football fan goes to every match expecting to be royally entertained I fear they will be regularly disappointed unfortunately. Anyway, I hate musicals! Peace ✌️
  9. Mourinho would be box office and high profile. Don't know if he'd be a good fit though.
  10. Jose?
  11. True but going on European tour is entertaining for the fans. The West Ham fans I saw in the channel tunnel coming back from their Lyon (I think) game when we had played PSV looked tired but happy. I'm not a fan of Moyes but he isn't without merits. A 3 year project would be good but I would venture that keeping us up should be the main focus. Most managers of teams outside the top 6 have to have some pragmatism because their players are usually up against players of an equivalent standard or better. Sometimes if you want entertainment guaranteed you have to go to see a musical.
  12. Not saying I want him but Moyes would tick a lot of boxes for the board. Experience. Steady Eddy. Got West Ham into Europe. Contacts.
  13. Don't know why SC is moaning about the ref. Ndidi could've had a red card. Nasty challenge. Maybe a few years ago it would've been OK but not so sure nowadays.
  14. Who cares what that mob chant?
  15. 24 hour ban on using the phrase 'papering over the cracks'. Or would that be papering over the cracks?
  16. Make your own luck....put Ayew on!
  17. Very good point as it keeps Ipswich still waiting for a win. I think if we can get some more points on the board, even playing not great, better performances might follow. I think there's a lot of tension at the moment as there is for all clubs in and around the bottom of the table.
  18. Fair enough. I'll guess we'll see what happens if and when he isn't in the team.
  19. I think he does win a fair share but it only takes one duel to be lost and it could lead to a goal. That's why a lot of teams double up on quick wingers. Forest doubled up well imo.
  20. In his defence it seems that other teams double up on our wingers to good effect but JJ seems to be left one on one regularly.
  21. Trent Bridge cricket ground is a good place and the river itself looks good imo. A good night can be had at Rock City. It's not all bad surely 😆
  22. I think it is harsh. Individual brilliance - well he picked the players that showed it (or got them on the pitch). Messi, Ronaldo - individual brilliance. Pleased we've got some players who can do it. Maybe the effort the team put in contributed to Southampton's downturn during the game. Winning goal was a tactic worked out on training ground so evidently work is done in that area and it's not just effort and hope. SC has weaknesses, we all do, name me a manager that has none. We are Leicester City in 2024, it's going to be bumpy, we aren't going to cruise through games very often if at all. Yesterday was bumpy but we rode our luck (probably due some tbf) and kept going. If he starts with Fatawu on Friday then that will answer your question about him learning anything from the first half. We'll see.
  23. Nah. We have more about us than fulham, bournemouth and Brentford. Not much more but definitely more.
  24. There should be a concerted effort to relegate fulham, bournemouth and Brentford.
  25. In fulham now. That was poor. Boring. What's the point of fulham? Boring club. Boring fans. Loads of empty seats. Need needle to make it interesting. Bring on villa. Should be some spice.
