  1. I have to disagree. There's no snobbery at all towards Ipswich. The majority of the posts here are directed towards our team and we have every right to criticise and point out the issues we see in our team. You can also check the other thread here and you will see dozens of posts praising Ipswich. On the other hand, the team we support have quite recently won a PL title, reached the CL quarter finals (and the semis of the Conference League thingy), won the FA Cup, won the Charity Shield, missed twice at the last day the CL football, what do you expect us to do, be happy we might get an automatic promotion back to PL? If having ambitions based on recent success isn't classy then yes I've personally lost a bit of class.
  2. Really now? You can't be serious. Last time I checked we weren't based in London or Manchester. Some fans can't afford the tickets, some others don't live in Leicester. Leaving 5min early is pathetic.
  3. We're dropping points because of Vesty/Faes and because we don't have a proper holding ball midfielder. These two CBs shouldn't be near a 25 players squad when and if we go up.
  4. We need 2 quality intelligent CBs next season. Vesty and Faes are slow and clumsy unfortunately.
  5. Applied. 33yrs of experience in CM/FM.
  6. If this happens I would love to see a Vardy vs Kane documentary next year. I have the title already: "Rock you like a Vardykane". 3 Oscars: Best drama, best comedy, best adaptation.
  7. Dovbyk 6 minutes hat-trick...
  8. It would be epic (failure) but traditionally Bayern suddenly goes up 2-3 gears every season in mid February onwards.
  9. They're still in a good fight aren't they? One point behind Everton, game in hand and they're playing quite well lately.
  10. At least Laporte seems to be a bit more honest than the others. The claim "we didn't know the quality of life would be so bad" tells it all about how uneducated the majority of these footballers are. They just live inside their own elitist golden cage. If someone from North Korea offers them a £1 billion contract they might accept it.
  11. True but there are some sites which specialise in news on the legal sector where you can find more details about the case. I agree major sport outlets haven't yet reported in depth. From what I've seen there are some serious breaches there (Chelsea's case also is very serious especially when it comes to previous owner actions/activities). Both cases come also with potential criminal charges, Everton's one was pretty straightforward.
  12. We won't be able to go into detail because their case is 3000+ pages.
  13. Waiting for the points deduction decision.
  14. Or Monday afternoon after they announce another 5 transfers.
  15. I don't think this is the case here. Mane's claim regarding the worldwide popularity of the Saudi League is all over the news now. So he needs to come with a statement denying he said these ridiculous things. He has also the option to say he was forced/bribed/paid to defend the league of butchers and violators of the basic human rights. Or just admit he has an IQ of -10 and shut his mouth forever.
  16. https://theathletic.com/5215491/2024/01/20/sadio-mane-saudi-pro-league/ I don't know if I should laugh or cry. These footballers are like politicians. Even though they're severely lacking in IQ they think the rest of us are stupid.
  17. I still believe there'll be severe sanctions/punishment against Man City and Chelsea. Does it matter though? The damage is done. Football had always a political side to it but right now its state is absolutely shocking. Who is it to blame? The football associations, politicians and footballers primarily. It's all about lobbying and money. They were all taking money from the Russians and suddenly they're now their enemies. The same will happen with the Saudis. Football will die if the same practices continue the next couple of years and the customers (fans) will abandon the product. Maybe an unpopular opinion but it's a scandal earning thousands an hour because you're very good at kicking a ball. The bubble will eventually burst.
  18. FA Cup is the English football. Every team should respect it and play the best available first XI. Millions of football fans around the world watch the FA Cup final every year for decades.
  19. It's more than obvious they need another 25 transfers this window. And another 40 next summer.
  20. That defending was proper National League quality. Exactly where they belong and will be in a couple of years.
  21. Everybody happy tonight with the cam at 20 FOV? 😜
  22. I like this cam angle. Looks more tactical to me, can see the runs and the off ball movement easier.
  23. The charges are not only FFP related. All 3 teams I've mentioned have violated financial rules regarding payments to agents etc via off shore accounts. Chelsea's former owner has dodgy payments to certain accounts. I'm 100% sure there will be major points deductions and I wouldn't write off a direct relegation punishment for Man City and Chelsea. PL is under pressure especially now they've chosen to deal with the smaller fish first.
  24. Their owner has bigger problems. I've posted several times the past months here that Forest are in HUGE trouble. I still believe they'll end up below League One. If they avoid any points deduction this season they're still properly screwed. I think we'll see monumental changes the next two years in PL. Man City, Wolves and Chelsea are next. We need to take advantage of the situation, get promoted, spend wisely with clever recruitment and try to build out our way back to the top.
  25. Do you mean devolution? I can't see any evolution here unless you've been sarcastic.
