  1. Wtf they were looking there? Are they trying hard to rule out proper goals? Absolute joke. We scored and I'm still fuming. Why don't they let us enjoy anything nowadays?
  2. Bad defending is a result of great vision and tactics by the opposition. Hurzeler had 5 Brighton players in the United box on the 95th minute.
  3. Yes, I was referring to their high line in general as a tactic. Despite the awkward high line Hurzeler is a fantastic manager like Will Still.
  4. It has happened dozen of times when players attempted a tap in on the goal line. This is a bit different because it was accidental but it's not rare or bizarre. This high line by Brighton doesn't make any sense. It helps when they win the ball and counter attack but it's way too risky.
  5. Ayew is a decent player. Nothing more nothing less. There's a big issue with our scouting team and whoever decides these signings. If you're choosing Ayew 32yrs old why don't you go after Loren Morón? 30yrs old, prolific striker and finisher in Betis and top goalscorer last season with Aris Thessaloniki. Aris are willing to sell him relatively cheap. This lad fights for every ball, he's doing some high press like prime Vardy. P. S. I'm not his agent. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loren_Morón_(footballer,_born_1993)
  6. I feel a bit sorry for KDH but these players need to consider their options better. Chelsea's situation didn't happen all of the sudden now. KDH had better options to continue his career. Except Kante all the signings from us have flopped big time for various reasons.
  7. Thing is you can never be sure when it comes to Spurs. A team might field the U21s and Spurs are capable to bottle it.
  8. Is this some kind of stand up comedy? Is this considered an interview nowadays? What's next? - Hey Jenas, what's the date tomorrow? - Oh I can't talk about that. You can see I'm not happy.
  9. Greek football clubs owners operate under mafia rules. These players can't even force their transfer and way out of their clubs. They can't do a Mahrez, Chilwell or whatever. If the owner wants 25M it's 25M. If the player is arguing they send 2 "strange" guys to have a word with him. Afterwards the player makes a statement saying he's happy at the club.
  10. Guys first half we were just too passive without aggression. Scared, without any confidence and composure. It doesn't matter if it's Spurs, play like this against Stockport or Wrexham and you're down 3-0 in HT. I'm not carried away but if we go down let's go down fighting.
  11. I just love some advanced maths.
  12. This isn't how the league works and Enzo will find it out soon when the likes of Wolves and Brighton humiliate Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
  13. Man City are playing in 1st gear. They can score whenever they want. This game is done and dusted.
  14. Same abysmal tactics by Enzo. Sideways and backwards, some crosses to nowhere. He'll be gone by late October. 2 yards offside for Chelsea and they keep the thing going for another 2 minutes. They just want to ruin the sport for everyone and just have the Taylor Swifts and Ed Sheerans watching with their mates.
  15. Are we sure any relegation punishments to Man City (and Chelsea) mean that still only 3 will be relegated from PL? They might promote 4 or 5 from Championship?
  16. Davis has more lag than any live stream I tried the last 20 years.
  17. Give them some decades to fix it. It's like road potholes.
  18. I'm pretty sure they confirmed this offside by checking the shadows. Another farce of a season incoming for VAR.
  19. Ed Sheeran's Ipswich, Taylor Swift's Kansas City Chiefs, Wayne Rooney's Plymouth.
  20. The fact is Ipswich are trying to reduce the huge gap in quality by making constant runs and fighting hard for each ball. So well done to them. Is it going to be enough for a result? Maybe not but this is what we need to do also on Monday and every week.
  21. What's the alternative then? Park the bus and still lose 3-0?
  22. Fair enough, this was my question. I'm also one of the pessimistic ones but I still think we have a range of players who will at least try to keep the pace needed for this league. Luton did it last season at some degree. I might be wrong and we go down with a bang on 12pts but I think we might be able to take advantage of the naivity which comes with this high pressure tactics deployed by the majority of teams.
  23. PL is improving compared to what? Compared to previous PL years, to Championship, to other European leagues, to Leicester? I watched the game and I saw 2 teams leaving huge gaps everywhere, especially Man Utd had no midfield at all. PL was always fast paced so idk what you mean about improvement. Have you watched the Real Madrid vs Atalanta game? Forget about Real Madrid, if Man Utd or Fulham play Atalanta we're talking about 6 or 7 nil humiliation easily. Yes, PL is entertaining but I can't see how any team here apart from Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool can be competitive against teams like Atalanta.
  24. I'm also desperate for a good striker. I'm just posting my opinion because I know this greek league well enough and I know greek footballers, their mentality, strengths and value. We simply can't spend £23M for a greek FW. It's out of the question.
  25. Their fans will just take anything 10M+. Player is overrated and overvalued anyway but there's a lack of FWs and STs everywhere. Because I see my posts caused a bit of "upset", I'm not denying Ioannidis has some decent stats. This is though completely different to my views of the player and my in depth knowledge of Greek Superleague last season. Why don't we go after Lorenzo Moron of Aris Thessaloniki? Max 4M, prolific scorer, better movement than Ioannidis and he could fit into our style of play easier.
