Silly foul that from Facundo.
-
Surely that all reflects a much lower than our average weekly wage too đ€đ» A low risk signing so to speak.
-
Winks in the first half against Forest was the best player on the pitch but letâs get our pitchforks out for him due to his mistakes yesterday. Iâm not saying Winks is a great as some made out based on last season but him being the next scapegoat when the same posters praise âhow much Bouba has improved this seasonâ yet has been invisible for a lot of our conceded goals is baffling to me.

QPR (H) - FA Cup 3rd Round - Match Thread

I agree to an extent but Alves or even Monga on the bench ahead of Ayew or Reid in a cup game wouldnât have hurt! -
Ric Flair Live & Direct on BSLB Podcast
SafewayFox replied to Ric Flair's topic in Leicester City Forum
Great pod mate @Ric Flair The bit about our wages doesnât get enough air time, I half understand the logical sense about kicking on under Rodgers and offering bumper contracts. However, as it was said on the pod, we arenât spending the same outlay on a player but then give players above average salary, someone please make that make sense. -
Odsonne Edouard joins on loan - Official

Absolutely spot on mate. I have been super consistent about rating our summer window as 1/10 and stick with it due to the urgency of getting it right but clogged up the squad with little/minimal resale value too. A lot on here though seem to think Cooper is exempt from any involvement with our signings đ -
Sorry mate but thatâs nonsense. Sensi was linked with us because of Enzo, there is no way that Cooper had zero involvement with Ayew, Reid or Skipp when he would bash one off âover PL experienceâ, he even stated that about Facundo when could have reeled off so much about the lad.
-
So you believe that Cooper had zero involvement with any of Reid, Ayew or Skipp? Or if Enzo was still here, weâd have signed any of the three?
-
It also helps that they signed hungry Championship players in Delap and Greaves, whilst we had Cooper obsessing over PL experience.
-
Iâm not wanting to get relegated but pretty much expecting it so can see why people would try to think of positives if/when we do. One thing is certain, we need major changes if we ever want to be a serious PL club again.
-
As others have stated, heâs not quick and that often pans out in how he plays in matches. His hold up of the ball whilst at times last season could be down to him being doubled up against, you canât lay that at his door this one. I think heâs ok even at this level as a squad player but if heâs your starting winger with no quality on the other flank, add it to the multitude of reasons we are in the bottom 3.
-
Iâve been critical for JJ for such a long time, he had a purple patch when very good but his norm has been absolute turgid performances. Now heâs just becoming a joke, can anyone find his âso called strengthsâ that Cooper put next to his peg at the KP for shits and giggles?

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
SafewayFox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
FoxesTalk is the home of rewriting historyâŠ.anyone defending Cooperâs transfer window or complete lack of tactics are simply on the wind up. Ruud may or may not be good enough but Cooper played a huge part in our awful Summer transfer window. Bilal is the only signing that improves our starting 11 and when making the jump with already a lot of question marks over certain positions/players, thatâs destined to end up in misery. -
Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

Iâm not sold on Ruud after getting caught up with the hype around him, letâs face it, that was definitely the case on here. The fear of being exposed as clueless by the media if we moved on Ruud will stop us from sacking him until weâre mathematically relegated. When we do get relegated (itâs happening isnât it) if Top doesnât sack Rudkin as a minimum, Whelan shouldnât feel safe either then we deserve our years of dross in the football leagues donât we? -
Villa (Away) Saturday 4th Jan 3pm (Match Thread)
SafewayFox replied to tcrofts's topic in Leicester City Forum
Not disputing that but we HAD to get our re recruitment spot on in the summer and Cooperâs obsession with bloating the squad with aging/overpriced PL dross, we have a weaker squad than this time last year. -

SafewayFox replied to tcrofts's topic in Leicester City Forum
Thatâs such a bad starting 11 isnât it? I hated Cooper and his obsession with PL dross aka âPL experienceâ, which is why our squad is as bad as it is BUT will there be a worst starting 11 in the PL this weekend? -
The one from Dream Team? Linda Block wasnât it? She was so bad she ended up in Corrie with a new name and everything đ
-
Soumareâs improved that is an easy comment to make BUT I canât help think that he has played a part in quite a few goals conceded in our little run of picking up ZERO points. Watch a lot of the goals back and heâs still the wrong side of his man. Itâs pretty well documented that his ability on the ball was never in question and not asking for him to be dropped just think itâs worth highlighting.
-
I couldnât disagree more. Ayew and Reid are not good enough to start and Abdulâs injury has highlighted how poor our squad is in depth. Imagine bringing in young talent like we have done, or like Brighton did when bringing Facundo to the UK at 17 from Argentina. I HATED Cooperâs obsession with PL experience and a much better coach/manager in Enzo wouldnât have touched either with a barge pole.
-
I couldnât put my finger on it but this was exactly it. We still concede goals way too easily and that is what gets clubs better than our current squad relegated. Weâve also only scored 6 goals in Ruudâs 6 games đą
-
Did we sign him on a 3 year contract?! Genuinely thought heâd be a good signing but I fell for the âleadershipâ hype. An awful CB who speaks a bit on the pitch is how Iâd describe him. I canât actually list a couple of good traits about Coady but can our other CBâsâŠ.scarily I even include Faes in that.
-
I know you said this tongue in cheek but letâs look at the trends of Cooper and his time here, the man was obsessed with quoting âPL experienceâ so you can easily rule him out for any involvement in BEKâs signing. Rudkin is a bit more iffy to say either way but itâs clear to say that with the big step up requiredâŠ.our summer window was extremely poor and that does lay at Rudkinâs door.
-
Evans when fit, was night and day above Coady as a footballer. I donât ever see any of Coadyâs leadership pan out on the pitch.
-
Exactly this. I have ZERO idea what Coady actually brings to the team.
